    Duke has been with us for a few days now, and what a fab puppy he is. He settled in straight away and is a very happy, friendly and playful little man. He is incredibly affectionate and loves his cuddles and toys. He is a pup that will bring lots of love and fun to his new forever home.

    Just back from a lovely visit to Lisa’s and half of Belles babies, what absolute dotes they are, tiny babies but already clambering out of their basket to do their business on the newspaper!

    Thanks Indianna, we are pretty convinced he is a Patterdale and I agree the world is a much better place for having this wonderful breed in it, not quite like any other dog breed I have met so far. I could write a book about all his funny traits, he certainly keeps us entertained and brightens our lives everyday :D .

    This day last year our lovely Bran arrrived to share his new life with us. I can still remember his foster mums tears and the scared little puppy face that set off with me that day in the car on a big adventure into the unknown for us all. What a great year we have had with Bran, he has had 3 DID foster brothers/sisters, become an intrepid swimmer having jumped into every river, lake, canal and sea he could find with his webbed paws, fetched every stick in the forest and chewed every ball and toy he has come across. He has developed into a wonderful personality, loved his fun agility sessions with Wonderpaws (until I broke my ankle :shock: ) and is always ready with a smile, a kiss or a waggy tale, thanks Bran for coming into our lives and sharing your love with us.XXXX

    PS A number of people have told me they are sure that Bran is in fact a Patterdale Terrier and I have googled the bred. He certainly does seem to possess a large number of the Patterdale characteristics and he certainly bears an uncanny resemblance to a lot of the photos of Black Patterdales online, any of you more experienced DIDers have any thoughts??

    Hope lots of you will be able to come to our coffee morning on Saturday next, we would love to see as many of you as possible. We will also be having a raffle for this lovely Christmas hamper which has been kindly donated by John. :D

    We have been trying out names on Flash and the one that gets the ears up and the tale wagging the most is Toby.

    Toby is such a friendly,affectionate and happy little man that I think he will settle easily into any new home. He LOVES meeting new people and other dogs at home and out on walks, little paws up and wiggly bottom for everyone.

    Well this time yest we were just back from a lovely walk, the two amigos were chilling out and I decided it was time for a bit of hoovering. All went well until i was heading down the stairs, hoover in hand, when I took a tumble which ended in A&E. A few Xrays, a fracture and a lovely blue cast later I am sitting propped up in bed being ‘minded’ by a certain little terrier :cry: :D .

    Collected this little guy from the pound yesterday and what a cutey he is! He has a smiley face and a waggy tale for everyone. He went for his first walk this morning and he loved it, lasted the pace with his long legged foster pal and enjoying a long nap now.

    This little man went off to his new home yesterday, he is such an affectionate, friendly little dog and we loved having him here to stay. Bran is already missing his pal who he had lots of fun playing tug of teddy and chase me around the garden with. Max has gone to a lovely new home where he will be the centre of attention and get lots of love and continue to be a very happy little dote.
