Penny takes me back… Our dog Benny that passed away looked so like her. He was a rescued Beardie x. I didn’t know anything about the breed then but learned quickly how wonderful they are. They have a really strong herding instinct and are so loyal and gentle. When we were walking in woods with our Benny he would never leave our side and if one of us strayed away for a minute he would come back to find us, only content when his little human pack were altogether. ;)

It is so great to see Pip’s progress from the scared little pup that I transported from the pound along with her sister Poppy to fostercare and now to see the happy, healthy dog that she has become. When I met Pip and her sister that day, they shook with fear when a human approached them – they seemed to never have known any sort of kindness and now they have found kindness and love in abundance, thanks to their wonderful fosterers :P :P

I transported Poppy from the pound to fostercare along with Pip. She was such a timid little thing and the look of fear in her eyes… I am so happy to see her now, happy, confident and mischievious all the things she was never allowed to be. She fell on her four paws when she went to live with such wonderful fosterers :P :P
