Hello everyone at DID, we are Henry’s new ‘parents’, just to let you all know how well he is settling in down here in the country. He gets up promptly at 7.45 so there is no longer a ‘lie in’ for us. However, he is absolutely no trouble in the house, he sleeps all night long and doesn’t call out. His appetite is good and he loves playing with his squeaky ball, (all day if possible).
He is very lovable and has beautiful brown eyes and two gorgeous girl friends living either side of him. He is very intrigued by cattle and his little ears perk up when he sees them going down for milking. Cats I don’t think he is very keen on, we were in the car yesterday on our way down to Woodstock Gardens when he spotted a cat and tried to get out of the car!! He is very good indeed in the car and sits happily on a lap, not keen on the back seat however. We are all getting on very well and the neighbours think he is gorgeous.
Our thanks to Lydia and Barry, they have obviously done a wonderful job in fostering this little chap, I know they really loved him. We love him to and wish everyone well in the wonderful rescue work you do.
Warmest good wishes from Maureen and Pierce.October 4, 2010 at 3:40 pm #101281kaydoyleMemberZucco (now Henry):

Happy New Year to all at DID!. Thank you very much for Henry’s Christmas Card, it was the first one he had received and thank you for the letter as well. Henry has had a lovely Christmas with presents, mostly edible! Lots of new human friends and he loves lazing in front of the fire on his special blanket ‘chilling out’ Although we had a lot of snow down here in Kilkenny it didn’t deter him from his self appointed job in life which is the total clearance of birds from the garden.! Chasing birds is one of his greatest pleasures and although I keep explaining to him that they have a third dimension he just doesn’t care,
Thank you so much for Henry who we love to bits
