July 30, 2010 at 7:54 pm #99559LizMemberThis little man will be wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and neutered before being rehomed. Zorro settled in very quickly, seems to be an easy going little chap who gets on well with other dogs-even though Ginny would rather see him on her menu
Dashound 215.jpgJuly 30, 2010 at 8:48 pm #99561LuvMyFurKidsMemberZorro was a little dream to transport…..not a peep out of him during transport and a clean crate too so he must be toilet trained….met his lovely foster mum Liz too …..I know Zorro will thank you a thousand times over this weekend!
July 31, 2010 at 8:45 am #99534CFeelyMemberOh thank you Liz sooooo much for taking in this beautiful little dog. It was breaking my heart looking at him on the website and knowing his days were numbered. I would have taken him in in a heartbeat if I wasn’t alreading fostering Tess. Well done to all involved and to all the others who have taken in the other dogs so recently put up for foster. I’m gonna follow Zorro with a happy heart now!
July 31, 2010 at 4:46 pm #99585LizMemberHave just been to the park with Ginny and Zorro, and as I dont have a crate I just put him on the backseat to Ginny and he stayed there as if he is used to do that every day.Ginny made herself as fat as any possible and he was squeezed between her bum and the door, but he didnt mind. Its funny to see te big fluffy white and the tiny black one together.Same at night,I just put his tiny pillow besides Ginny’s and he slept without any complaints or accidents all night, he is house trained. They dont particular like eachother but apparently decided that they dont care, ignorance from both sides, lol. That makes him a pretty good 2nd dog I think.

August 1, 2010 at 9:37 am #99612LizMemberZorro had his first walk off the leash this morning and it was really good.He is absolutely crazy for food, so the coming back part wasnt an issue at all.On the lead he is good as well, have been using a long flexi lead up to now. He doesnt pull, but he is so tiny that you wouldnt realize it anyway.I think he is suitable for pretty much every household, he doesnt mind dogs or children-havent met a cat yet though, but it probably would have been eaten by Ginny before Zorro has a chance to say his opinion
August 5, 2010 at 11:20 am #99776LorliMemberZorro needed a new foster home through no fault of his own. He came into foster with me on Tuesday. He was quiet nervous the first day but thats to be expected, he’s not half as nervous now although he is nervous of other dogs, im just going to take it one day at a time letting him meet them one at a time. He has met my little terrier mini, he didnt want to know her at first but now he seems to like her and even wants to play He is house trained hasnt had any accidents, he is quiet at night time even though he has been sleeping on my bed how could i not let him he’s a little sweet heart. He loves his food but he doesnt jump up at you when your eating and doesnt go near the bin or anything. He’s great on the lead and just trotts along beside you. He is just a lovely dog alround, I think he will settle in perfectly he just needs a lot of tlc. I will post pics soon

August 6, 2010 at 11:27 am #99677LorliMemberHe seems to be settling in quiet well audrey and I got my first kisses yesterday Just taking it one day at a time meeting the other dogs as he is very nervous around them, he gets on with my little terrier mini, I tried him with my other dog bronx yesterday but he was 2 nervous of him, probably because bronx is that bit bigger than him, I will keep trying though. I reckon he will be fine after a few days

August 6, 2010 at 8:20 pm #99673LuvMyFurKidsMemberMost of my foster fur kids took about two weeks to warm up to my Rossi (great dane lurcher cross) as he is always towering over most dogs …..I would say you are right its only a matter of time! Fingers and paws crossed for the little man here….he gave me kisses when I lifted him up his freedom day!
August 9, 2010 at 9:59 pm #99921LorliMemberWell this little man has settled in really well He just wants to sit beside you all the time & he follows me everywhere. He has been sleeping on my bed at night and loves to snuggle in and go asleep. He hasnt had any accidents in the house since he came here. He doesnt really like dogs that are bigger than him but im working on that. He is so funny I was out the back garden the other day and I turned on the hose I thought he would run a mile away from it because all of my dogs hate it and run for cover, but zorro thought it was the best thing ever Im glad iv found something that he really likes. You will see from the pics how much fun he was having, anytime i go anywhere near the hose now he keeps running around in circles barking waiting for me to turn it on. He really is a great dog im glad I got the chance to foster him
