She is so beautiful, she has really filled out very well gone is the slightly anxious look.Happy Christmas
Just a few photos so i can show off my big baby! Shes now 21 months and still as playful and placid as she was the day we got her although she now has the added responsibility of being a foster sister. And a really good one at that! Loves kids and chasing her ball and getting wet!

She is beautiful…well done ![]()
Poor Yazz has gotten over her sickness today when she realised that she was a Dogs in Distress Poster girl! Nothing like a bit of celebrity to cheer a girl up! Of course its nothing new to her being an 80’s superstar but it never hurts to be reminded! Heres some little poorly photos from yesterday! As usual foster brother Victor is minding her!

Glad she’s feeling better now and has Mel & foster brother Victor to look after her.
She looks great on the homepage & is truly a Superstar now.
Kisses from Gerry & George xx

Beautiful photos ![]()
What great photos and up-dates of your gorgeous and clearly well-cared for dogs
It’s so sad that they had to have such bad starts to their lives but for them, things turned out very sweet indeed ![]()
Still a beautiful girl..
Both girls are so lucky with this Happy Ending.
Both had bad starts and now have such fab parents and have settled in so well with each other and even have been great foster role models.
Well done girls we are proud of you both DID girls ![]()
Thanks Marie, Kathy, Audrey and Indianna, we are very lucky to have our girls. The dogs trust came knocking last night and I told them had it not been for DID we wouldn’t have our girls as they refused us at the door 3 years ago because Dave might at some stage get a job. He did a month later and since then at least ten dogs have been through this house. We are all working for the same goal just some of us are better at it than others ![]()
I couldn’t agree with you more. A lot of the big ‘official’ animal rescues seem more interested in their CEOs travelling first class, staying in nice hotels (some B&Bs are very good indeed) and putting donators’ money towards very nice and well-furnished offices for the staff
They often close their doors on very needy animals because they are full. They are full because their re-homing criteria is so narrow they have great difficulty in placing dogs/animals. I was at Love Pets Show in Edinburgh recently and was asked for sponsorship for a dog by a very large animal charity. When I said I prefer so support smaller (not in dog numbers) charities, I got the dirtiest, darkest look from him and he shook his head. He went on to say "why don’t you support us", I said "no thanks" and carried on my way. I will always support DID, Second Chance (in Fife) and GSD (Scotland) and if I ever win the lottery I will adopt all three ![]()
Hilarious Indianna, they told me that they were single handedly campaigning the government and it was them who forced the changes in the legislation changes on puppy farming and the more signatures (money) they collected that would influence the government to make further changes. I’m all for supporting the changes but they will cope without my 15 cent a day, the loons were afraid of Melody! Haha no real dog lover would shy away from that beautiful face!
We are certainly supporting ‘the best team’ ![]()
