we got this dog on friday 13th but so far there has been nothing too unlucky about him. we were amazed at how at home he seemed jumping from chair to kitchen table to worktop so we’ll have to work on that but he loves plaing fetch and we found out that he can sit, give paw and drop. he’s getting on with our other dog with lots of playing, a few too many teath for us to be happy with but were hoping that they will settle down as they still are getting used to having someone to play with 24 hour a day.
we didn’t make it through the first night with no accidents but there was only a bit of whining when we first left him for the night then nothing till the morning so we are just really glad that he got some sleep.
we haven’t got any pics yet but i’ll put some on when i can get them to stay still for long enough…..!!!!!! saying that they are both sleeping in front of the fire after a hard days playing. we are definatly going to have to work on the training too so that we can let him off the lead but we introduced hime to the clicker today whick he picked up quickly so fingers crosses
to be continued…………

both dogs are fast asleep with both of their heads resting on the one trainer. i think that they are becoming friends but still lots of teath during play time.
kenzo is quickly learning his name and amost coming back when called but we still haven’t been brave enough to let him off te lead when out on walks yet.
he’s been eating well and i loving his new home.

just letting you all know that thing are still going great. he’s loving agility training and digby is his new best friend. it took them a few weeks to settle but you wouldn’t know it now. sleep and eat together with no problems.
he gets great walks along the canals and forests near us and hardly every chases his tail anymore but still has an unhealthy obsession with fetch but its great exercise for him.
i tried to add a photo but couldn’t work out how to do it
if anyone wants any let me know and i can e-mail them

October 19, 2009 at 1:08 pm #83760animalhelperMember"we are all getting on great, kenzo was at a dog show at the weekend, unfortunatly he was in the creative styling class so he got covered in glitter but he loved his walk afterwards.
we still have problems with the recall but luckly we have places near us where we can let him off the lead for a good run, and he loves a good swim and roll in poo when ever he can. we are trying to whistle train him at the moment which he is great at in the house and garden but unfortunatly rabbits and blades of grass are more interesting on walks." -
