Vernon will be wormed, microchipped and have at least his 1st vaccination before being rehomed. He must be neutered at 6 mts. old. Here’s a picture of they new addition’s to the family , there is one boy vernon and three girls , vicky , velvet and vixen, so all in all with vanessa there is 4 girls and 1 boy , and to look at them u’d think vanessa was from the same litter only she’s a tiny bit taller then them
Vernon is 8 weeks old.

Along with Vanessa, he’s a particularly gentle, sweet pup. He’s a little more daring, will venture the odd bark and run down the garden after Holly but she just turns around and he scampers back to safety. Going really well on the toilet training, thanks to ex-foster mum Jane. They’re both a credit to you Jane, well done.

He’s also a remarkably gentle puppy, doesn’t bite, scratch or chew anything in the house. Had been calling him ‘Vernon Dog Piddle’ but lately he’s decided to follow Vanessa and do all his business outside. Smart, gorgeous pup, lucky people who’ll get him.

He’s so affectionate, following me all around, but also is very happy to potter about in the garden. Very, very good in the house, accepted that he’s confined to the kitchen, he’s a no-trouble-pup.

Definitely more daring than she is, he has already mastered Casper and is in the process of trying to tame Sam (Cas is a retriever cross and Sam is mainly Doberman so no mean feat, I can tell you!) He is full of beans but so affectionate and loving. They are both a credit to Jane and Barbara and anyone else who was involved in fostering them up to this – they are so well adjusted and healthy and happy and trusting. Vernon will be a great adoptee for whatever lucky family decide to adopt him. I will post pics asap.
August 26, 2010 at 8:13 pm #100473ColganFamilyMemberWell Vernon met his lovely new family this evening and it was mutual love at first sight! He absolutely loved the attention of the children in the family and had his first trip down a slide!!! In the very secure arms of his new step brother. He will be heading off to his new life on Monday and we are so thrilled for him cos he deserves nothing less. All the best, little man.

August 30, 2010 at 7:57 pm #100634ColganFamilyMemberVernon left us for his new life this evening. We were sad to see him go but the Carroll family were SO excited to get him at last!!! He will be called Woody and I know he will have a fantastic life with them all. It was wonderful to have the opportunity to meet you and foster you even though it was only for a little while. All the best, my sweet little man!
