Can anyone confirm if this is Tyson please…his ears appear to be different in both photos..July 29, 2009 at 9:45 am #86818animalhelper
MemberNo that’s a different dog Dierdre, it looks like a dog that someone tried to surrender 2 weeks ago but we persuaded them not to and Helen was looking for a place for him.

MemberI hope tyson gets rehomed soon as he is ready to be part of a family. he is just so friendly, gives the paw and is full of life. i hate to return him back after our walks. He is just beautiful , full of life and playful. If i could i would take him home with me.

MemberTyson is still looking for his forever home or foster. He will to well with some training, he is very reponsive. He will pull to get to the other dogs as he is friendly with all. Away on his own, he is good on the lead. I think he will probably have good recall as well if given the chance. He is very affectionate, he likes his belly rubbed. His temperament is good even though he is now in the pound a while. it does not seem to bother him. It would be lovely to see him out and safe soon. He really is lovely.

MemberTyson has such a great personality. He will make some family very happy as you will find yourself laughing quite a lot with a dog like him. He loves all the people and all the dogs. He will need a home that is willing to give him time and lots of exercise so that he gets a chance and it works out. He is not that big really, he is a bit of a jumper upper, so will not suit a home with young children, but teenagers would be great. He is very very affectionate.

MemberI have just been for a walk with Tyson and could not believe he was the same dog that I used to walk when he first came in. He has grown up and matured so much. He now sits and gives the paw and loves the cuddles. He is just so so adorable and cannot believe he has not been snapped up. I was told today that because he is a gsd cross that he cannot be homed directly from the pound eventhough there has been some interest. This guy needs out..he was happy enough today in the enclosure with the other dogs after I put him back as he is probably used to it by now. Tyson needs a home – you will not be disappointed . an absolute beauty! His time is I am sure running out..please give him a chance.

MemberJust a quick post from Tyson’s new home. Or Truman as he’s now known. He’s been learning the house rules and exploring his new surroundings with gusto. He seems to be settling well, such a clever dog. He can be rather excitable tho,and a little nipper, but we’ve already started his training to stop that. He’ll be off to obedience classes once he’s recovered from the snip and a little more sure of his place in his new pack. Today he came for a walk along the canal banks, and in the canal briefly. While typing this he’s streched out half in and half out of his bed. He’ll be out for a romp shortly, then an early night before the vet tomorrow.
And we’d like to thank the DiD volunteers for their offers of support and help,it’s very much appreciated.August 16, 2009 at 4:12 pm #87396CandC
