Did I make the mistake of saying that this little one was the quieter of the two????? Boy, was I wrong!!
24 hours after arriving with us, this little lady found her voice – and WHAT A VOICE!!!!
She HOWLS when you leave the room – for all of two seconds!!! – and she asks to be picked up and cuddled when she is tired. Tori is the "talker" while Tyra is the "doer"!
That said, she is a really sweet little girl, very driven to the humans in the house although she loves the dogs too. She is getting a good grip of the toilet training and will go if brought outside. She loves to explore, loves to play and LOVES< LOVES< LOVES biting at your ankles!!!!
No pair of trousers, no shoe and no bare toes are safe with this little lady around!
That said, she is really cute, affectionate and playful – an absolutely gorgeous girl!!!

Sandra she looks like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth
Another real cutie! Fianna
Well this beautiful little lady continues to thrive and has won the hearts of everyone here – no surprise there I suppose!!!!
She is typically puppyish in every way – textbook almost. She plays frantically for a while, then finds a comfy bed and collapses for a good, long sleep (usually wrapped up in her sister)
She loves toys and playing tug of war but without a doubt her favourite activity is biting at the lower legs of ANYONE she finds.
She ADORES toes, ankles, socks, slippers, flip flops and the ends of trousers!!! That said, she is beginning to cop on to the word "no" and will stop when told (usually!!!). She is really growing in confidence and gorgeousness by the day. She would love to find a family of her own and truly desrves one.

In typical twin fashion, my mam has lumped MY news in with my sis’s!!! So to read what we have been up to, have a quick peep at Tyra’s blog!!!!

Did I make the mistake of saying that these babies haven’t grown much? It was only when my son arrived home after a week away and mentioned that they seemed bigger that I decided to weigh them.
They have each gained a kilo and a half in the 2 weeks they have been here!!!
Why am I surprised – they eat like horses and have become very fond of getting their titbits at the table just like the rest of them here – I know, I know!!!!! Tori continues to be a little madam who lets you know what she wants quickly and vocally.
And then I see her as she is now, cuddled up next to Sam fast asleep and GORGEOUS and I can forgive anything. Tori is a very intelligent little lady just waiting for someone to call her very own.

Sam may be 7 times my weight but he is always gentle when we play. . . . . ![]()

This little lady – just like her sis – has mastered getting up on the "doggie sofa" in the last few days and she is THRILLED to have another place to rest her weary little head (weary from all the play and chasing
) Tori continues to grow and she is rapidly becoming a real looker with a pair of bright eyes that look at you with such intelligence and understanding! I would swear she knows everything we say – sometimes she chooses to ignore us but more often she chooses to do as we ask!!!
Tori will make an amazing pet for the lucky family that get to home her (if I can prise her away from the hubby, that is!!!!

This beautiful lady was microchipped and received her first vax today. She was so BRAVE – not a peep out of her.
She met several of the neighbourhood children on her travels and really enjoyed their company – we have no smallies (human smallies!!!) here but the puppies seem to know instinctively how to behave around them . It’s onwards and upwards for our gorgeous little girl now. I would love her to find her very own family!

Well my beautiful little angel, Tori, went off to her new life earlier today and I cannot believe how quiet the house is without her. She was always the noisier, giddier, more manic one of the two and the house is eerily quiet!!!
Poor old Tyra is missing her already and she hasn’t quite decided which other canine to latch on to.
Luckily, she will be heading off to her own "happy ever after" tomorrow.
Back to Tori – she has gone to live in Meath (much to my true blue Dubs fanatic hubby’s chagrin!!!
) where she will have doting parents and a GORGEOUS big sis, Holly for company.

Looking forward to loads of updates. Be happy, my gorgeous girl.

Since arriving home this little girl has really settled in well. It’s as if she was destined to be Holly’s little sister, they adore each other and spend most of the day playing. She is the most playful pup I have ever met and makes even chasing the sweeping brush a game! (and impossible for me to clean up!
) She loves to bark and is such a cuddler. She’s so full of life and a joy to have in the house. Welcome to the family little girl (oh and don’t worry she’ll be visiting dublin regularly for runs on the beach at malahide!)

Oh Marie, she looks FANTASTIC – so happy and settled.
You are absolutely right – herself and Holly look so good together. Thrilled to hear that all is going so well. Thanks a million for the lovely update . . . . . . and keep them coming please?

Be really happy, sweetheart ( thats the doggie I am talking to
).
(By the way, are you keeping the name Tori? Or Tia? or . . . . .)

I gave her a big cuddle for you! We decided to call her Snoopie. It’s the dutch word for sweets
(my husband is originally Dutch) We brought her to my brothers and he didn’t want to let me take her home!
Here’s some more pics of her. She’s going in for her 2nd vac on friday. I’ll post more pics over the next few weeks so you can see how she is doing and that she is happy!

We wanted to wish everyone at dogs in distress a Happy Christmas and New Year! We are very grateful that Snoopie came to us and that she was so well looked after by dogs in distress and her foster mum.
She is doing really well and is the happiest little girl. Herself and Holly are the best of friends and they love to get up to all sorts of mischief – especially when we are out!
It has taken a while for her to get used to the car and up to last week I had to hold her on my lap in the car enroute to the best dog walking spots. She’s come to realise that the car means fun walks, so last week she started jumping in on her own! She’s growing so fast that sometimes we forget that she’s still a pup – until she gives us that puppy look (or should I say, stare out, when she’s hungry!)
I’ve attached some photos of Snoopie over the last few days and will post up more over the next few weeks.
