May 5, 2009 at 4:32 pm #83308animalhelperMemberTerry is a lovely fella! He is quiet strong on the lead but is a very quiet dog, doesn’t mind other dogs at all and is eager to say Hello. He’s a great boy.
May 12, 2009 at 1:45 pm #84861carmelMemberthis could be the last day to save this guy. i was told today that the 3 staffies are in serious danger. staff told me a few times and even followed me down the field to hand me ref nos. everyone is very worried for these guys so now is the time to step forward if you can.
May 16, 2009 at 8:17 pm #85006mackersMemberI already have 2 rescue staffies, one of which I found here (Remember Silver), and I really like to focus my efforts on this breed because in my experience they make up about 80% of most pounds dispite being such lovely dogs!
so my long over due point is I’d like to foster Terry before its too late.
Should I ring Ashton tomorrow?
Thanks for the help.
May 16, 2009 at 9:19 pm #85007AnonymousInactivei think Rua was not great with other dogs. If you can foster Terry leave Gwen a message and she will get back to you, you can also ring Ashton to see if he has any bookings and let them know you are interested in fostering him.
May 17, 2009 at 10:01 pm #85018JennyMemberTerry is a friendly sociable chap. He is excellent on the lead – loves walks, and really enjoys rolling in the long grass. Terry could do with a helping hand – if you think you can offer him a foster or forever home please contact Gwen (gkd).
May 18, 2009 at 9:39 am #84998ladlesMemberI have only managed to say hello to Terry though the grille of his kennel. He licked my fingers, I hope he gets the chance he deserves. I hope he is lucky and someone comes forward and fosters him. Just like Betty and Nessie, I am sure he has so much to give in a loving envirnment. He must be on serious limited time at this stage.
May 18, 2009 at 8:38 pm #85058ladlesMemberI know that urgent action needs to be updated as there are more dogs up in Ashton, but Terry seems to be hanging on in there. He has solo listing at the moment. Can someone give this guy some company and take him home.
May 19, 2009 at 1:04 pm #85083mackersMemberI was on the phone to the pound, I can foster Terry but I’m having trouble getting down for thursday (the deadline), because of work. I will get down one way or another if I have no other choice, but it would be great if someone could foster him until saturday (also I’m coming from Belfast so its harder).
any advice would be great thanks
May 21, 2009 at 8:01 pm #85119ladlesMemberI have just spotted this post on Terry. Does anyone know if Terry is ok. I am unable to foster Terry but maybe someone can help if its not too late.
May 24, 2009 at 10:08 pm #85234JennyMemberTerry is still patiently awaiting his forever or even a foster home. He is good with other dogs, loves people, very sociable, absolutely great on the lead, loves rolling in the long grass and investigates almost every buttercup – a really great chap.
May 26, 2009 at 9:42 pm #85296JennyMemberGreat news. Lots of luck in your new home Terry.
May 27, 2009 at 10:38 pm #85327KandigurlMemberSuch a shame to see these dogs in the pound. I can definately help at least one of these staffies
May 27, 2009 at 11:53 pm #85331ladlesMemberGreat news and how lovely to live with Silver, I remember him. Thanks for giving Terry a much deserved chance.
