Poor Gyspy, I hope she gets the time to come out of herself and trust again.
Any news on Gypsy? How is she getting on now is she more settled, how is she around people and dogs now? Do you know how old she is?
Anyone any news on Gypsy?
I took Gypsy out on friday and not knowing anything about the dog, I had nothing to be fearful of. I thought she was a he so for now I will say she. She was so nervous that it took a while to get going but when we did we had a lovely walk together. I got lots of belly rubs and kisses. So I was determined to see if she would come out again today. I think she remembered me but she was still very shy, Ricardos had to carry her outside for me. Eventually we got going, but it does take time and patience. She is very gentle, I had no worries about her at all. She was good with a boy who was there today and she was absolutely fine with other dogs. This dog is probably not used to been on a lead and keeps doing a sheep dog behaviour and lying down. A lot of love and a little bit of gentle firmness will help this lovely dog to become less nervous. It was difficult to get Gypsy back in through the pound door , she will just lie down and it is hard to pull them but had to do so in the end.Once she is past the doors she just trots back in. This dog is very special and is worth taking time with. I think the rewards will be huge.

Still trying to get a handle on sending photos, so the image is small but it shows Gypsy out and about.
is she looking for foster home? she is lovely ![]()
Yes, things definitely improving with Gypsy. I managed to persuade her out of the kennel and get her back into the kennel all on my own today. There were a few stops but she seems more open to having a walk and loves if you run with her around the field. I think she will be more outgoing with strangers in no time. She is great on the lead and loves other dogs.
Any update on Gypsy, did she find a new forever home?
Sadly Gypsy is still in the Pound patiently waiting for her forever home. She has come out of her shell and is enjoying her walks but hates going back into her kennel – who could blame her.
Gypsy is in serious danger, the pound is full up and he will be PTS on Monday morning. If you can save him, please post here.
Whats happened to Gypsy did she get out?
Gypsy is in a safe fosterhome awaiting her forever home.
There has been a mix-up, GYPSY IS IN DANGER. She is still in the pound and needs an urgent foster home. If you can help please contact Marie on 0862573180
My post was incorrect – apologies – this wonderful dog will be PTS tomorrow if you can help please contact Marie.
Could Gypsy be sent to a rescue centre in the U.K. then we could give her a loving forever home.
