MemberWell splendid Summer what have you been up to? I imagine you love being out and about. Was watching a TV programme recently talking about how much humans need to be out in daylight for good health, fresh air too. We are all too housebound these days. Nothing like a brisk daily walk regardless of weather. You would be a great walking companion, up hill, down dale and your person/family would be as fit as a flea

MemberUpdate from Summers forever folks….
Thank you for your e-mail and all the advice and I am sorry I am only getting back to you now. Summer has settled in fine and is a big part of our family. Ella our wolfhound gets on great with her and they have great adventures on walks together. The cat is still not excepting her or trusting her but it will just take another while, as she was also a rescue and was badly neglected before she came to us. Peacock keeps out of reach and makes a huge racket when he sees her but again it will only take time for them to except each other. Our peahen is sitting on eggs and is due to hatch any day, so will have to keep a good eye on Summer as like any dog she will chase the chicks. She is a real charmer and a very clever dog and is learning fast. I will send on some photoes in the next couple of days.
Alison was brilliant, and I could not thank her enough for her wonderful kindness and care of Summer. So between Clare, Alison, yourself and I am sure an extended network of volunteers, I am very impressed with your orginasation and the work you are doing.
Thanks for everything and I will be intouch again soon,March 13, 2012 at 7:49 am #108922kaydoyle
MemberUpdate from Summers family
She is getting on great and is such a huge part of the family. Herself and Ella our wolfhound are best of mates and even the cat has taken to her, even thou the cat demands respect.
