This is sorted now thanks to Eddie (Yorkie) and his fantastic family ![]()
Took Stryder home this afternoon to keep him safe for a few days. He is a gem of a dog, never thought I would find such a perfect Pit Bull. He is full of energy and charm
Soon as we got home and put on his new harness we took him for a long walk with Sophie, Bailey and Calum
He walked like a charm, interested in everything around him but not distracted. He got on well with our dogs and all the others we met on our travels. He loves people and is very affectionate. He is really powerfull so we keep a close eye on him playing with the smaller dogs just to be safe as he does not realise his own strength.
He can sit, give the paw, down and stay already and he is a really quick learner. He loves to play with toys and is very funny to watch, but he needs company and does not like to be left alone. He goes from one person to another with hugs and kisses and leaves no one out.
He loves his meals and shows no signs of food agression, I have taken his food away several times whilst he was eating and he just looks at me with those big sad eyes and waits patiently for me to return it.
So far we have had no accidents in the house and he has made his way to the back door when he wanted to go out.
Goint to put him to bed now hopefully he will have a restfull night, looking foreword to seeing what tomorrow brings
Will post some pictures soon

Stryder needs urgent foster. If you can help please call Kathy on
086 3696413
He is a gentle little guy who needs someone at home a lot of the time. He gets on great with other dogs so ideally a foster home that has dogs. ![]()
Any update on Stryder he is such a wonderful dog who deserves a good home ?
I am going to make a few enquires for this poor fella. A friend of mine that also fosters rehomed a staff with a lovely guy that lives quiet near to myself and gave him a wonderful home so I will pop over to him as soon as I get a chance and see if he knows of anyone that might be interested. Also I could put an appeal on facebook if it might help ??? My laptop is still out of action but I will get in touch with Kay If I hear anything, Linda
Poor Stryder has been in kennels for the last 2 weeks
Please if you can take him into foster give me a call on 086 3696413 ![]()
I wonder how Stryder is doing, is he still in Kennels.
I’ve been told that Stryder has been rehomed is there any chance of an update from the new owners, I’d love to hear how happy and settled the big man is.
I am so thrilled to see Stryder settled at long last. He appealed to me from the first minute I saw him. Maybe its the likeness to our own Mollie!! A long and happy life to you, Stryder.
What wonderful news ,it has just made my day. Stryder is a great dog and he is going to make his new owners very very happy
Congratulations to all involved.
