I believe she’s coming to us shortly in the hope that her and Buster form the cutest couple ever?
I’ve attached a new pic of Buster. He’s posing big time : ).

She came straight in and made herself at home. No crying or making strange. She is so friendly and well behaved. I gave her a bath and I can’t believe how fantastic she was. She just stood there getting washed and not a peep out of her. We then went to the Phoenix Park for a walk. She is excellent on the lead and we even left her off it for a while. She stayed with us the whole time. She is great with dogs and people. As I write this, herself and Ollie are lying here on the couch with me, both fast asleep. She will make a super pet for some very lucky person. A true "Star"

He looks really well. I hope he is getting ready for his blind date
She look like a lovely little girl.
Here’s hoping they like each otherJanuary 9, 2012 at 1:49 pm #86789fredisbestMemberWell our little Star had a great night. I left her in the kitchen but relented after 10 minutes and brought her upstairs with us. Our Ollie sleeps upstairs and I felt that as she came from a home where she was always with other dogs, it would be wrong to leave her on her own the first night. She settled straight away by my side of the bed. I left her out first thing this morning and she did her business. No accidents whatsoever. She is so adorable and her tail NEVER stops wagging. She just wants someone to play with her but Ollie is not interested. He just looks at her and walks away. She’d be great with another little dog who’d play with her. She’s going to be spayed on Wed. She is one super super little dog.

January 12, 2012 at 1:55 pm #106856fredisbestMemberMy little twinkling Star had her op yesterday. We missed her so much last night as she was staying overnight in the Vets. Collected her this morning and as usual the tail was wagging. She’s in great form. She was so happy to see me and doesn’t have any problem with the lampshade!! I don’t know what I’ll do when she goes to her forever home as she has already stolen my heart. I would dearly love to keep her but unfortunately Ollie doesn’t feel the same. He just ignores her and she doesn’t deserve that. She needs to be with another dog who will play and cuddle with her. She loves nothing more than snuggling in to you. Again I can’t reiterate just how wonderful a little dog she is. She hasn’t one bad fault. Hopefully when she meets up with Buster they’ll get on well. I reckon anyone thinking of adopting any of her pups Clara, Cara or Cassie will end up with an equally wonderful dog as their daddy, Gizmo, who is currently with Kyleblue (Esma) has the same temperament as Star. Here are a few pics of herself, Ollie and Ollie’s pal Charlie.

Buster absolutely loves playing with other dogs and sharing his bed and cuddles so I’m very optimistic they’ll get on well.
Here’s another couple of pics of Buster.

January 12, 2012 at 5:21 pm #107577fredisbestMemberDarren, it sounds like Buster will make a terrific match for Star . They look so alike. She’ll be thrilled to have a playmate and someone to snuggle with. You won’t be disappointed when you meet her. I, on the otherhand, will be brokenhearted when she goes but her happiness is what matters. See you next week. Mary
