Silver came for a walk with me today. He is a most sociable and affectionate dog. Loves his walks and is good with dogs and people. I would love to see "out and safe" on his thread.
Hello, I’d be interested in adopting little Silver. The thing is we have another Staffy called Tara, a female (neutered) who we also rescued from a pound.
Tara is 6 and quite lively (not at all aggressive), great with people, especially kids! Shes been fine with other dogs on the lead or off whilst out. But i’ve heard 2 staffys are best rasied from pups in order get on well in the home?
Say it ain’t so because I love Silver!!

The best thing to do would be to bring your own dog up to the pound and walk her with Silver to see how they get on, is worth a shot. He is a lovely dog so hope all works out for you.
Pound is open 10-12pm tomorrow or 10-5pm on weekdays.Silver is still in Ashton awaiting his forever home. He is a very sociable chap – good with other dogs and people. Loves his walks. He is well name – a most wonderful silvery grey in colour.

Would it be possible to reserve Silver until Saturday as I really want him but can only come down at that time?

If Silver is still in need of care, I would like to volunteer to take him for fostering, with a view to keeping him on if he is of good temperament/character.
We already have a former dog in distress, and are experienced with staffordshires. Please let me know what the current state of play is with Silver.
I acknowledge that Mackers is first to the post and am happy to wait and see how he/she gets on first.
