December 28, 2013 at 3:22 pm #118494BeaMemberHi Sidney here. I have been sooooo busy over Christmas I haven’t had a chance to update my "blog".
Thank you very much Marie for my Santie sack. I wanted to eat all the pigs ears in one go but wasn’t allowed . I am still having great fun with the toy, it is great for tug-of-war.
I love playing with other dogs and toys. And I love running on the beach, the fields and woods. In fact that’s where I am off to now so I will update on my adventures later.
Adios amigos.December 28, 2013 at 3:52 pm #118630LuvMyFurKidsMemberSid I imagine you are just as adorable as your cute pictures
December 29, 2013 at 9:53 am #118655BeaMemberThank you very much Audrey: the truth is I am even cuter and more adorable in real life
I am very good at night and haven’t whined or chewed anything (well I chew lots of things in my dreams but haven’t learned to sleep-chew yet).
We get up early and walk to the fields and back (a miserable 5-10min trot) but I don’t mind cause I get my brekkie when I get back . I love my food. The first day I was here one of the humans went to eat a Pringle; just as she lifted it to her mouth I sprung through the air and grabbed the Pringle mid-flight, landed on the chair beside and munched it. You should have seen her face, I was so quick she didn’t know where it went. The other human laughed and said I be very good at agility and a pity there was no video of it. I would have obliged and repeated the trick but they are more careful now eating the Pringles .
Cause it’s Christmas still I got a jumbone this morning too. I didn’t know about Christmas but my doggie foster Mum Bea explained when they put a tree inside it’s not for peeing on, it’s a sign that lots of treats and toys will be appearing over the next few days. I hope Christmas lasts forever!
Soon when the foster human finishes her tea (I gave tea a try but its only OK and the human didn’t look impressed) will be going for a proper walk. I am really good off the lead (the humans say I have a bit to learn on the lead but I am sure I am soooo clever it will be easy, it is probably the lead that has to learn, not me).
I will try and get them to take some pictures of me, but they are so slow and I am so fast they mightn’t manage.December 29, 2013 at 11:19 am #118664IndiannaMemberYou are clearly having a ball Sid – great to be part of a family – either foster or permanent How we all laughed about the Pringle story, I too managed to grab a sandwich out of a human’s paw … I mean hand. Fly ball, we need to give fly ball a go Enjoy every second of your new life Sid, it just gets better and better
December 30, 2013 at 8:51 pm #118688Angela1MemberWow Sid, I had to smile reading about your antics! What fun you are having. I am sure you will find your forever home very soon but your foster family sound great so continue to enjoy the fun and games with them x

IMG_20140106_121647.jpgJanuary 8, 2014 at 12:13 pm #118792BeaMemberAs you can see from my photos I know how to make myself comfortable. In two of the photos I am visiting my foster granny’s house where myself and Bea moved the Westies off their new beds that Santa brought and settled ourselves in front of the Aga ….even though Bea didn’t fit so well
Under normal circumstances I have to admit I don’t spend too much time snoozing. I prefer running, playing, sniffing new things/places and chewing toys (or shoes if I get the chance).
I also make a good headrest if I crawl up behind you on the settee
I don’t like to mention these delicate matters but I have been neutered, wormed and microchipped. I am ever so cute, affectionate and have a wonderful nature (modesty not being one of my characteristics, it is overrated).
A few times when I was having great fun playing with my doggy foster Mum Bea, she went missing and I looked everywhere and couldn’t find her . After a while playing with my toys there was nothing to do but fall asleep . While I was asleep the human "rescued" Bea, she was under the duvet hidden in the bedroom, I sure it was a case that she got lost there not that she was getting a break from me….after all I am irresistible !
Ciao for now, SidneyJanuary 12, 2014 at 4:05 pm #118863BeaMemberSidney headed off to his new home today, he will be missed by us all here but we know he will be very happy as part of his new family.
