Hi All Just to update you on Lucy, she had to have a little operation last Friday. I noticed a few weeks ago in the snow that there was blood in her urine. I brought her to the vet and they said urine infection, she got tablets and injections. Last week I noticed the blood again and she had a operation last Friday to remove stones from her bladder. One stone was very large. Thank God she got through the operation and is doing well. She hates the collar with a vengence. She has now to stay on a special diet for life but can live normally. We were sick with worry but she has bounced back so well. I just hope she will eat the food we are getting it today. best wishes to all :)

Glad to see she is back to her pretty self minus the lampshade.
I am also sure Hamish is delighted to have his little girlfriend back.
How is poor Charlie doing?? I am sure he is still busy keeping the youngsters in check and teaching them all the doggie do’s and dont’s.

Charlie has such a lovable face and you would know by looking at him he is such a sweetheart. He is such a good older boy putting with with the younger ones and never getting annoyed.
Charlie get my No. 1. ;)

Tell that little Scottish fellow his country cousins say hello :)

Hi Marie, Hamish sends his love to you and Lucy of course. Thanks so much for caring and making a difference to all the animals you save! I love posting so you can all see how they are getting on. You are right charlie is so gentle, I have never meet a dog like charlie, I think he was sent to me as I was heartbroken when my dad died and my dog murphy, he is an angel. Hamish likes to sleep close to charlie and mind him. We are off to kerry again 3 dogs and one cat

Hi All, Just a quick update on ‘Miss Lucy’, She is with two years next week, I cannot believe it. She is such a happy little dog and her boyfriend is Hamish the Scottie and she bosses young Archie about and Charlie runs when the squeaky toys appear :D
We are thrilled with her. she is so cute and does not miss a trick. She loves sleeping in beds and if the cat is not on the bed Lucy is. We had guests staying in the summer and on the first morning of thier visit Lucy was not in her own little bed and I wondered where she could be  when I investigated further she had moved in to the guest room and was asleep in bed with our visitor and she stayed with her every night of the visit
Here are a few pictures of her :P She is due the dreaded bath and blow dry which she is not a fan but she is delighted when she is sweet smelling again. The three smallies (dogs) go round together and any newspapers, shoes or all get pulled in three directions and shredded.
Lucy is a master at getting food out of people’s bags. When were are on long journeys and make a pitstop, Lucy has the sandwiches out of the bag and eaten in about 5 mins. She should have been a sniffer dog  Life would not be the same without our lucy :D :D
