We have Sharkey a few more weeks now and he’s getting on great. He is much better on walks especially when meeting new dogs. Sharkey doesn’t mind going into the water anymore but is cautious not to go in too deep. Himself and our dog Rosie play all day and there are no issues with sharing food, if anything Rosie has learned to be very gentle when accepting treats from us by watching Sharkey. His recal is getting much better but still loves to have a game of chase before coming back
! He is putting on weight and building into a fine dog, here are a few pics …

I will put some more up tomorrow ![]()
Any word on a forever home for Sharkey?
Sorry we have not updated Sharkeys page, 2 reasons the first is we would love to keep him, but this is just not a runner. Second we have had no internet. Anyway Sharkey is flying, he and Rosey are great pals and Ollie our neighbours dog comes and says hello every day. We walk every day on the Curragh and he loves to chase a ball. His recall has gotten much better but like all Staffies, they need constant work. He meets a good few dogs whilst out on our walk and is very well behaved just a quick sniff and away he goes. He loves a big marrow bone and he and Rosey swap them all day long. He has sit and stay we are working on paw and laydown. He loves his crate and goes tru the night not a bother. On the lead he can be a bit strong but calms after a few mins and is good after that. here are few new pics

Yes thats Roseys tail in the 1st pic
Hi folks , you know what ? This dog just gets better and better . I was feeding him his dinner tonite and I’d swear he was talking to me, he does a lovley little stretch and a chatter of his teeth along with a little cry, when you ask him to sit and stay before grub. I gave him a bath today and he hated this one?but instead of trying to jump outta the bath he sat and cried .
He has a lot of character and loads to give to his forever home ,I know that It would be a very lucky home that Sharkey settles with Me thinks this will be a sad house the day this pet leaves. ![]()

Hi folks,
Sorry for not keeping Sharkys thread up to date , but we have had no access to the web ( lame excuse but true ) .
Anyway he is flying !!!! he and Rosie are beside me , nudging me looking for rubs. Sharks has been with us awhile as he is a very speacial dog,and I am new to fostering and want to find the very best home for him. Which I had hoped it would be here, but this can not happen tru no fault of Sharkys.
He is a dog you can’t help loveing and has come on in leaps and bounds. He is good on the lead, still loves meeting new people and other dogs, but still gets very excited for a few minutes but settles into great pals after a while. He is a rouge and loves a game of chase. Any ball game is a good game and the ball can be shared with all. Around the house he is very good he stays off the furniture and loves to lay at your feet when he settles.Rossie gives him a hard time now and then, robbing his treats and taking his ball, but he still lets her lay down in their bed with him. He is a dog who just takes the day as it comes , he likes to swim from time to time , but is happiest when chasing a ball. My young son Jack has decided that all food should be shared with the dogs ,even if its only a lick. sharky is a great all rounder with loads to give, with his ball skills and speed he might be a good dog for the likes of fly ball. I will post pics of him tomorrow ![]()
Here is Sharkey now Dizzy in his new home!

Great to get an update….sounds totally settled now ![]()
