Willie Nugent, a veteren fund raiser from Armagh came to meet some of our volunteers on Tuesday morning as part of his shaking paws around the world fund raising campaign. On his travels he has been to dog rescues in Russia, the USA, Barbados and Romanaia and many more. If you google Willie Nugent + Shaking Paws you will see the good work he has been involved in.
He contacted us a couple of weeks ago about shaking paws with some of our dogs. Here are some of the photos taken on the day.

The Gang..Thanks to everyone who took the time to show up. I know that you all had a lot better things to be doing on a Tuesday morning but it wsas great to be able to put some names to faces. Special thanks to all the dogs who were so well behaved on the day. And of course THANKS to Willie for travelling down to meet us. And to the Lovely Jo for taking the photos and to the staff and management of Equipet who were so nice to us all even though they were trying to organise a stock take.

Roisin and Kelly absolutely stole the show and both could have professional modelling careers!! Marie’s interview on LMFM radio was very good the photographer and journalist from The Meath Chronicle were lovely and I’m sure the piece in the paper will be brillient. More excellent publicity for happy rescue dogs and responsible ownership – very well done Liz and Marie!!
