Sadie was found by a board member and is now looking for a new home, this is what her fosterer says about her:

"I am looking for an excellent home for Sadie, a gorgeous golden lab lady. She is about one year old, very calm, gentle and obedient. She adopted us while we were staying at a motorhome park and we have since identified her owner who was only too happy to have her rehomed because she tended to ‘roam’ from their unsecured garden while the owner was at work. She has proven to be the perfect pooch since we took her home.

As I said she is extremely calm, very well behaved and gentle. She had kids playing and hanging out of her when we found her (rather when she found us) and seems to calmly enjoy the company of children, excellent with other dogs – she has just slipped right into my household with our three rotties and has a very calming effect on other dogs. She is spotless in the house, loves cuddles and absolutely adores swimming – dives right in from the riverbank and swims like a seal. Luckily Sadie came into season within a week of us taking her off the streets, she will be staying with us until her season has finished and she has been spayed."

Didn’t see Sadie on the main website. Is she still looking for her forever home?

Myself and my husband, Mick, got "Sadie", a beautiful golden labrador through your wonderful organisation in June of this year. She has settled in brilliantly with us, and she really is the most wonderful pet. We simply couldn’t imagine life without her now, so thank you so much for bringing her into our lives.

Keep up all your good work and Happy Christmas to everyone in DID,
