May 11, 2013 at 4:52 pm #115440saoirseMemberPoor little boy,what happened?
Do you know if he is good with children?May 11, 2013 at 8:23 pm #115444CaraghMemberRupert is settling in nicely. He was very nervous at first, but after just a day, his personality is shining through. He gets on well with our boisterous dog and chases him around the garden. His favourite thing is cuddles on the couch. Rupert is very loving, full of licks and cuddles. He is a little nervy still after his ordeal in the pound. He hates to be left alone, would need human company or at least another laid back dog to be with him all day. Rupert will have to be an indoors dog, he does not like to be outside at night and he adores a soft bed. He does not like the lead, but he just needs some training. He is housetrained. He is an adorable, placid little guy.

May 12, 2013 at 9:34 am #115457yoddyMemberSo happy to see these pics of little Rupert.
His pound photo was so distressing to see and I’m really happy that he has got a foster family to spoil him and make him feel safe.May 13, 2013 at 10:17 am #115475CaraghMemberRupert is doing great. It’s amazing the difference in his confidence in just a few days.

image.jpgMay 15, 2013 at 7:31 pm #115523CaraghMemberRupert just LOVES attention. For a tiny dog he can leap onto your lap with incredible speed! He needs very little exercise cos he’s such a small chappy. He’s super clean and has not peed in the house once! I think he would be good with older kids, he has a gentle, timid nature. He must know I’m writing about him because he just snuck upstairs to see what I’m doing!! All he wants to do every evening is cuddle and lick someone to death . He’s a great little companion. One warning though, he likes toasted cheese sandwiches and is not above stealing one off the coffee table if you leave it within his reach!!!

image.jpgMay 19, 2013 at 9:56 am #115580IndiannaMemberOne of many favourites. What is Rupert like in the car? Does he really like it, not bothered or a bit worried? His original image troubled me greatly and I feel rather attached to him, along with Misty, Goldie and Gizmo
May 19, 2013 at 7:48 pm #115589CaraghMemberYea he was fine in the car. I put a seatbelt clip on him. He just wanted to see what was going on outside. He is a lovely dog and will make someone very happy.
