Ruby arrived with us today
She wasnt one bit shy and immediately settled in. She is an energetic friendly little lady who’s tail does not stop wagging. She was so hungry when she got here it broke my heart however she was not one bit protective or aggressive over her food. She is in her element getting kisses and cuddles thats all she wants. Here are some pictures so far its hard to get good ones as she always on the move ![]()

Well are first night with Ruby went really well… not a peep out of her>> i actually woke her up when i cam down this morning
we brought her out for a walk and she is very good on the lead. Her tail still hasn’t stop wagging and although we only have her a day i can see a difference in her. She has such a friendly and adorable personality

Myself and Harry met Ruby this morning when we were our for our walk. She is a lovely friendly dog, great temperment with both humans and other dogs (loves being petted and cuddled). She even tried to rob Harry’s ball, but she would need to be very quick.
Hopefully she won’t be in foster for too long, she is a lovely dog.
Thanks Pat.. Harry is so adorable:D Well Ruby is getting on great she the past few days she has been doing really well with toilet training! She is such a laid back carefree dog she just flakes out anywhere … as you can see from the picture below ![]()

As it was sunny yesterday i brought Ruby to the park ans she loved it. It was great to see her running around enjoying herself. Her recall is very good and she comes back straight away even when she is playing with other dogs! She is such a bubbly dog she would make a great addition to any family.

Ruby was spayed on Wednesday and she has been the perfect patient not a whinge or moan out of her at all even though i can tell the cone is wrecking her head as much as it is mine
Ive had her out in the car with me a couple of times and she was a dream companion she put my dog to shame… she just sat down, had a look around and fell asleep
She is such a lovable lady and she will make a great family pet!

The very pretty Ruby is heading off to her family at the weekend.
She will be in her element with a lovely family with kids to keep her busy!!
Ruby is heading off to her forever home tomorrow and i am so happy for her. however im soooo sad to she her go as she has been amazing and i will really miss her. But i look forward to photos and updates on how she is getting on. Fostering has been a great experience and i hope i am in the position to be able to do it again some day soon ![]()
Oh that is fantastic news Michelle. I am so thrilled, yourself and your mum have been fantastic foster parent. That is one lucky family getting such a great dog. Give her a hug from myself and Harry, we will miss her on the canal walk!! Xx
From Ruby’s family:
Ruby’s a great dog. We try to give her at least two walks a day and she normally gets three. She could run for Ireland and never seems to get exhausted, yet when she’s home she’s pretty chilled out and just waits for some one to play with her or take her for another walk.
She is obsessed with chasing the ball, unless she senses a squirrel, then she’s all over the place, but eventually comes back. Other than that her recall is excellent. I haven’t succeeded in stopping her pulling on the lead, but she’s much better for my husband. Thank you again for bringing Ruby to our attention.Ruby 1.JPG
