Update from Ruby’s new forver family:
She seems to have settled in really well. She’s still a little nervous but that will go in time. She had plenty of short walks to get her used to her surroundings and she was great on the lead. She also sleeps through the night without a sound and then gets very excited when she sees us this morning. There have been no accidents so far which is great and she generally seems very happy especially when there’s food around . I will keep you posted on her progress and will send you on some pictures soon.
Once again thanks for everything.

Well, Ruby is doing great and is thriving. She was neutered a couple of weeks ago and although she was out of it for a while it definately didnt last for long. She’s now 14.5 kilos and is eating all around her and practically sits on your knees when we’re sitting having dinner. Her latest trick is taking a running jump onto the sofa and landing on your head hmmmm think we’ll have to get her out of that habit. She also loves pulling off your socks and chewing them to pieces.
We bring her down the beach at the weekends and although she doesn’t like the sea, she loves the seaweed and the bigger piece the better. She loves the freshwater ponds too and has no problem jumping in and trying to catch the ducks. Everyone who sees her when we’re out comments on how beautiful she is. She’s lost all her puppy hair and has now changed to a darker brown – almost 2 toned.
Training has gone very well, she’s great on and off the lead and knows exactly where she lives – she runs up the lane and waits at the front door when coming back from her walks. She’s become more confident around people and other dogs too, but still slightly nervous about kids running up to her. All in all she is a very different doggy from when you last saw her
