Velvet is doing very well thanks for asking….she has a big day this friday she is back in hospital with the professor for another heart scan. So we will have everything crossed for her in the hope that she will get the all clear well as clear as it can be 4months after open heart surgery.

Her puppiness and cheekiness is more and more part of her character and never fails to make me laugh.

    St.Patricks Day Parade….around the livingroom!

Couch crashers ready for the rugby.

Her antics go from being Top of The World!

    To all shy and coy!

She gives the best kisses every day without fail!

So please keep her in your thoughts and prayers this week for a bright and healthy future she deserves after the battle that she has had.

    Thanks for thinking of her……
Its was heart breaking leaving her in she so hates the place which is understandable …..she was shaking whites of the eyes out and ears pinned back and that was all just while waiting on my lap. Then she had to be lifted through the door as she wasn’t going through it of her own accord.

Her results were that after the ultrasound showed no improvement but no disimprovement either – stable is the current condition. She has a weak pulse and cannot be neutered. They were delighted to see her now at 17.20kg and that her coat has grown over and nearly back to full lenght. They want her 2hr mountain walk reduced while half tablet of one of the three meds takes effect. The team want her back in 6mths for another scan which I am taking as a positive as her last two have been 2monthly intervals.

She was so glad to see me and while her condition was being discussed with me she had her paws wrapped around my arms…within 5mins of being home she was bouncing around the place….such a little fighter for her young life!

What fantastic news Velvet … I’m in tears here! What a Forever home, you’ll continue to be showered with so much love and special care, Audrey, Rossi & Tess are one heck of a team … they’ve nurtured some very special dogs who went on to become confident, healthy and happy fur kids. I just know you are going to go from strength to strength.

    Best wishes to you Audrey

Ahh Audrey, I was thinking about you both all day yesterday. Even these little check-ups are so hard for Velvet after such drastic surgery….God love the poor baby. I hope your nerves are not too shot as you must have been worried sick at the very thought of the visit to the specialists.

And, really,………………was there ever any question of Velvet NOT staying with you, Rossi & Tess??? ;) :D :D :D ;) ;)

Wonderful news all round on a saturday evening. 8-)
