:o How thrilled am I? :D :D :D I really did say to someone that I was living in hope your foster family would crack and keep you for ever. You are a cracking little dog and I have to admit that I am a tad Mrs Green  but very, very happy. Don’t forget us now Twinkle, drop in to say hello now and again. :) I am happy, I REALLY am :D

Thanks everyone for all the good wishes. We are delighted that Twinkle is staying here with us. She fits in so well here and we all adore her. Thanks a million to Kathy and Audrey and all involved with Dogs in Distress who, even when they have a lot going on in their own lives, work so tirelessly on behalf of all the dogs who need their help. Twinkle will keep everyone posted on how she is getting on :D

:D Love the photo of Twinkle snuggling into her person. I would say enjoy your new life Twinkle but its really a continuation of your normal life. I am so happy your foster family made such a good decision ;), it would have been difficult to find a better dog. I look forward to hearing about your adventures now and again ;)

Hi all, Twinkle here. I would like to wish everyone at Dogs in Distress a very Happy New Year!

I have had a lovely Christmas with my furry sisters and brothers. Santy came to visit us and brought us lots of lovely things. We had great fun chewing the zips out of the lovely new beds he gave us! We have nearly all our new toys demolished now but we still are working on a couple of the tougher ones! We had lots of lovely treats and we all had turkey and ham for our dinner – it was yum!

We have been going for lots of long walks to work off all the treats and when we come home we sleep all evening which our mam and dad think is great :D

I would like to say thank you so much to DID for helping me when I needed it. Everyone loves me here and I know I will be here forever so that makes me happy. I hope that in 2012 all dogs will be as lucky as us DID dogs. :)

Twinkle has been with us nearly a year now. We all adore her and couldn’t imagine being without her. She is as mad as hatter, absolutely adores people and loves to play morning, noon and night :D She is so affectionate and when any of us comes home, even if we have just been out for ten minutes, she greets us with such enthusiasm it’s like she hasn’t seen us for years!!! Here are a few recent pics of her out and about She really enjoys paddling in the water and sometimes even has a little swim. She is gas, she gets in and swims in a tiny circle for a few seconds and then gets out again. She always looks very pleased with herself after doing it because she gets a big cheer and clap from us. If anyone heard us they would think we were crazy

Twinkle, you are so pretty but you shouldn’t be messing around in muddy ponds  As for swimming in small circles, well, why not, one just needs to take in the air and water for a short time before one trots back home for tea and cake 8-) Great to see you, thank you family ;)
