Twinkle, I can’t bear to see you at the bottom of the page. I have been waiting for someone else to send a post to you and Snowy. Having just found out about the ‘Snowdrop’ I am sending you this post so you know you are very much in my thoughts. How are you getting on? I hope you can get to a computer and give us all (or just me) an up-date. I really need a sprinkling of the magic Twinkle dust right now
October 25, 2011 at 6:29 pm #106863AliceDevMemberHi Indianna, thanks for taking such an interest in beautiful little Twinkle. She (and I) really appreciate your msgs on here – they always makes us smile
We were very sad to read about little Snowy but we are glad that she experienced so much love and kindness under the care of Dogs in Distress and her wonderful foster carers.
Twinkle is still getting on great here. She is such a happy, loving little dog. She is so affectionate and loves to snuggle up on your lap. When she is going asleep she loves to hide her little face under your arm or leg – its really cute
She loves to play and run with the other dogs and also loves her walks. She only has one dislike as far as I can see and that is cats! She loves to bark and chase them but I don’t think she would be brave enough to catch one. One hiss out of a cat and she turns on her heels
I only have one pic of Twinkle this time but it captures her giving her best ‘puppy eyes’
Twinkle and friends 007.JPGOctober 25, 2011 at 8:09 pm #106866IndiannaMemberThank you very much for the up-date. Twinkle, I could reach into my computer screen and lift you out. I love the fact that you look right into the camera lense and that little pleading face is tugging at my heart strings . Its nice to know that you are safe, cosy and have human and canine company. You are a super little dog and I will be staying in touch
October 28, 2011 at 12:00 pm #106932IndiannaMemberA very stupid question but I have to ask . I know Twinkle is good with other dogs, now the stupid bit – how do you think she would react to a grumpy dog or a grumpy situation?
November 2, 2011 at 9:29 am #107030AliceDevMemberHi Indianna, Twinkle reacts well to a grumpy dog. One of our dogs is 13 years old and can be quite grumpy at times. Twinkle seems to know to give her a wide berth at these times
November 2, 2011 at 9:52 am #107018IndiannaMemberThank you so much for responding to my question. I am slightly ashamed even asking – I wouldn’t really have expected any other answer relating to the spectacular Twinkle
November 7, 2011 at 11:43 pm #107054jake n baileyMemberOh Indiannia is Twinkle going on a little journey……… She is gorgeous and seems to have a lovely temperament ,I am amazed there hasn’t been a queue lining up for her I have a Jrt myself, she is my first small dog as I always had big dogs but she is the funniest little character. Her 2 favourite places in the house are beside the oven (when it’s on) or on the back of the sofa in the sun looking out the window. They are a lovely breed & so intelligent
November 8, 2011 at 9:10 am #107053IndiannaMemberCouldn’t agree more on the JRT promotion. Fantastic little dogs, huge characters. Your JRT is clearly a little sun/heat fan. All of our previous JRTs would follow the sun spots round the house and bask in front of the fire. The other side of the terrier
C A T S !!! Let me at them, if I can’t get passed you I WILL go over you – M O V E. They are great fun but wouldn’t want to be a small furry creature within range I remember one of our ‘Jacks’ doing the wall of death inside the car. My father was dropping something off at a house, we were waiting in the car and the resident dog put in an appearance. Well, Frisky’s eyes shot out on stalks and off she went, round and round the inside of the car, over seats, across the dash board on and off the back shelf, barking and screaming at the dog who was just standing looking at the car. The other side of her character, a very cuddly, affectionate dog. I adore terriers. Someone once told me that I protected the stationery cupboard at work like a Jack Russell Terrier, I decided to take that as a compliment As for Twinkle – splendid little dogNovember 18, 2011 at 11:36 am #107239IndiannaMemberI feel like I am neglecting you Twinkle but we are all busy right now trying to support Velvet. I know you are well and happy with your foster family so that is good. Hate to pester your people but any more photos of your beautiful little self? Zooming off to ‘visit’ Willow now then it will be time for positive vibes for Velvet.
November 26, 2011 at 12:05 pm #107224IndiannaMemberHello Twinkle. Not only do I think about Velvet every day, you are also right there in my tiny mind. I know you are a perfect little thing and beautiful into the bargain . I do wonder . . . ., much more than I should and certainly more than anyone knows I am right behind you, stalking you from afar .
