This gorgeous girl arrived in our mad house this afternoon, big thank you to Yvonne for delivering this precious cargo!
Pippa is now known as Cookie. She is a really friendly and happy girl. She longs to please and loves he pets and cuddles! She is a very curious girl and loves to play. Didn’t take us long to find out which was her favorite toy…! She gets so excited when she sees a ball! As you can see in the link below, which was taken 5 minutes after arriving.

Cookie seems to adopt to her new surroundings and gets on with Jacky very well. She is a little under weight but that will be sorted soon enough!
A few pictures of Cookie after the customary pampering spa treatment.

IMAG0990.jpgNovember 16, 2013 at 4:03 pm #118107yoddyMemberDelighted to see this update on Pippa/Cookie already. I collected her from the pound and she was a really relaxed girl. She was excellent in the car – just cuddled up on her blanket and snoozed all the way – not a sound out of her. Jacky will need bundles of energy for this girl I think
November 24, 2013 at 1:37 pm #118195rubi27MemberCookie has settled in very well. This girl is a very smart and active dog.
She is well trained. Her recall is good, she sits for food or when she is told to, she gives paw when asked. This is only a few of her capabilities.Cookie is an active girl who needs a good run. She is loves her ball and is obsessed with it. She loves a good game of fetch and can do it all day.
She is one fast cookie!! With great reflexes and agility. She would do really well in an agility course with some training or even with a frisbee as she can jump pretty high!

IMAG0992.jpgDecember 20, 2013 at 1:57 pm #118491rubi27MemberCookie didn’t take long to come out of her shell! It only took her 15 minutes to make herself at home and part of the family!
She had several accidents in the house the first few days. I suspect she was kept outdoors with concrete floors as her nails were pretty worn down.
It took her only a few days to get used to the routine and we have not had any accidents since. She is one smart cookie!!Cookie used to pull quite a bit on the lead but is getting a better by the day. She gets very excited when its walkies time as she knows she will get to chase her tennis ball. She is obsessed with the tennis ball and will not take her eyes off it! She loves a game of fetch and is very happy to run for hours.
She is great off the lead as she doesn’t wonder off too far and her recall is pretty good.
She is great with other dogs and people. Nothing really bothers her and she seems to be a confident dog. When on walks she does not bother with other people or dogs. She just minds her own business and enjoys the walk.
Cookie would make a great second dog as she loves company. Jacky and her are constantly playing!
Cookie will suit an active family with children and as a second dog.

January 13, 2014 at 4:19 pm #118882rubi27MemberA quick update on this gorgeous girl.
Cookie is doing great and coming along fine. She is an amazing little girl. Cookie is a really happy pooch and loves her cuddles. She travels well in the car, just jumps in and has a snooze till we get to where we need to be!
Cookie is very obedient as she sits patiently and waits for breakfast or dinner to be served. She is a very fast learner. only took two attempts and now she knows she needs to be in her bed when we are having dinner.
She knows its walkies time when i pick my runners up. Although she is really excited to go out, she sits and waits for the lead to be put on.
We took her Cookie on a hike up Djouce and she had such a good time chasing after deer. Thought she was going to bring back dinner but that didnt happen.
She ran off whenever she smelt them but always came back when she was tired.Cookie will make a great addition in an active family. She is great with children and other dogs. We had children as young as 3 visiting and she was very curious of the little people. She was so gentle even when taking treats from them.

IMAG1201_BURST011.jpgJanuary 15, 2014 at 10:32 pm #118919clairefMemberWhat great pics delighted to see this girl put on a bit of weight and settle into home life I met this fab girl in her foster home and have to say she left a lasting impression. Such beautiful intelligent eyes! She is a bit of a goldilocks dog … Not too big not too small…not too active not too quiet … Just right! Such a sweet clever girl with bundles of love to give and would make a fantastic second dog for anyone looking to add to their canine family.

March 1, 2014 at 7:40 pm #119584rubi27MemberSo, Cookie has been neutered two days ago, and kept for the night currently she is back home and surprise surprise doesn’t even need a cone! She isn’t licking the wound or anything, and she seems to be completely pain free! Back to the running and jumping when she should be resting… Here are some pictures of her and Jacky resting
