I think he is just waiting for the right opportunity Thinking, planning and then, when least expected, he will leap into a mad flurry of pure Scottie action
January 21, 2013 at 11:31 am #113612DowlingcaMemberYou can add Bonnie to the list for teaching him bed distruction it is actually embarrassing now how many beds she has distroyed, especially when she and Dexter have friends for a sleepover or holiday stay and I have to send them home with their beds in bits, what is it with Scotties and foam filling, many a morning I have come down and my kitchen looks like a snow storm, I am fostering Prancer at the moment and Bonnie even managed to eat his bed through the bars of the cage. But it is all part of her funny little personality, hence she now as a plastic bed with blankets.

He’s also just discovered the joys of chewing on a calf’s ear……loves them .
Poor little guy is desperately trying to make friends with the cat but hasn’t had any luck so far. He’s persistent, I’ll give him that!

You really should start on the soft beds first (= fun!) and work up to the hard plastic ones (=no fun!). You are looking great and your sores are healing very well. Keep working on the cat! Look forward to reading your progress.

bed looks very neat & no sign of any destruction, very worrying . I love the cat picture . The cat is taking no chances Buster looks so handsome xxJanuary 26, 2013 at 12:09 pm #113674MutleyMemberBuster not that your fellow Scotties would ever suggest destruction of beds but perhaps a little inspiration…
Looking forward to hearing more of your day-to-day activities!
untitled2.JPGFebruary 4, 2013 at 9:34 pm #113932laineyMemberI’m pretty confident that the beds are safe at this stage – Buster obviously missed out on some very important Scottie traits!
He travels so well in the car I nearly forgot that he was with me today until his sticky-out-sideways ears popped up in the back window to see where I was off to without him . He spent the afternoon with my parents who are retired/nearly retired and it struck me that this is the type of home that would really suit Beautiful Buster (BB). He was instantly chilled out and lazed happily under the kitchen table at their feet, sticking his nose up every now and then for a quick cuddle. The fact that they have a ready supply of dog treats on top of the fridge might have swung it for him perhaps!!
Poor boy is still desperately trying to make friends with the cat and keeps jumping into the cats chair just to "feel" his presence . You can see that his cataract covers his right eye and he sometimes bumps into things if he is caught unawares on his right side. It doesn’t hold him back in any way and he runs, chases his toys/ball with his doggy mates and never gets left behind.
He also LOVES going to the vet for some reason…….
