MemberDay 2 and Bert (we’ve been calling him Pete as we thought that was his name) is settling right in with his foster brother Bubba! He’s such a sweet, adorable little thing, very gentle, polite and loves lots of hugs, rubs and cuddles

MemberHi everyone,
Pete (aka Bert) here! I spent my first weekend at my new foster home and I couldn’t be happier
I had a few visitors come to see me on Friday evening so I was showered with lots of love, rubs, scratches and kisses. They even brought me presents.
My nails were pretty long and uncomfortable so I was brought to have them clipped on Saturday morning followed by a trip to the park with my new brother Bubba. After the park Frankie gave me a good scrub in the bath and I now smell like strawberries. I was hot all day Saturday but Frankie cooled us down with some delicious ice cream treats.
Yesterday I got some new toys, was brought out for a big family dinner (yummy sausages and chicken) and then we spent the evening chilling in front of the fire.
Bubba was growling at me for a few days but we are now best buds, I think he likes me now
Frankie will post pictures soon.
Love Pete (woof) x

MemberHi everyone,
Look at me, I’m wearing the cone of shame!!
I was taken to get neutered yesterday and also to have those annoying dew claws from my back paws removed. I’m finding the cone very difficult and its hard to eat and drink but my foster mommy is helping me a lot.
I was being a very good boy so Frankie took the cone off for a few hours to give me a break, what a relief! I was told not to lick my wounds so I snuggled up beside Frankie and my foster brother Bubba on the couch
Bubba spent all day yesterday in doggie day care, he goes twice a week and he loves it. Here he is pictured with all his friends. Frankie has promised as soon as my wounds are healed and I’m feeling better that she’ll send me along with Bubba – I can’t wait to make some more new furry friends.
We are still looking for my forever home…
Lots of licks
Pete

MemberHi everyone,
I’m still wearing my cone of shame and am quite restricted to staying indoors until my dew claw wounds heel so I’ve been hanging out with Bubba, begging for treats, fighting over who gets to sit on foster daddy’s lap and I found my new favourite spot in the house – right in front of the fire!

MemberGreat news everyone! My foster family have decided to adopt me, I’m sooo happy
My new mummy keeps telling me how much they love me and how I’ve fit right in with the family. My foster brother Bubba is my new BFF, we do everything together, even snuggle
Since I arrived we’ve being going on tonnes of walks, eating ice cream to cool down in the sun, enjoying lots of yummy goodies from the endless BBQ’s. I got a new bed, collar, lead and harness and spend most of my time either digging up the back garden or curled up on the sofa
I bark a lot at other dogs and I’m not too keen on walking on the lead but I’m getting used to it and heard I’ll be heading to some social classes soon to meet new friends.
I was so lucky to be rescued and it just shows that there is hope for all us doggies…
Lots of licks
