This little girl was ""BOUGHT"" yesterday and because she barked the landlord said they couldn’t keep her. The owners were then going to bring her to the pound or have her put to sleep
Thankfully Andrea took her in at a moments notice until Suzanne can foster her on Saturday. Thank you ladies :

April 29, 2011 at 1:06 pm #104641angeMemberThis girl is a howl, she has brought the pup out in poor Leo, she has him demented lol. She is definitely not living up to her name as Princess. We have been calling her Ruby it suits her. She likes going walking and she is a very fast mover for such a tiny little puppy.
April 29, 2011 at 3:37 pm #104776CFeelyMemberLOL She is the spitting image of my Rudi (formerly Tess) adopted from DID last August – except that Rudi is Black with a bit of white. Same personality though…. like a tazmanian devil flying around the house! Great fun! And she has poor Lily pestered too…
April 30, 2011 at 3:21 pm #104636IndiannaMemberNearly lost your life because you barked. What do you think you are Princess – A DOG??? No barking now or your foster family will catch on and guess what? They won’t give a hoot because they understand you and everything you should be.
May 1, 2011 at 3:51 pm #103966susiedubMemberPrincess is a tiny little girl. She is very lively quite hard to catch but getting a photo also not so easy as she doesn’t keep still for too long ! She is here just 24 hours and already starting to settle in. Last night she went straight into her bed and slept all night, I didn’t think she would but had them all out in the garden chasing a ball, she is a flyer !Must have worn her out . She loves her toys and is spending a lot of time with them. Last night she sat and watched a programme on RTE about seals and turtles, great considering she had only arrived.

036.JPGMay 3, 2011 at 6:29 pm #104916IndiannaMemberGoodness me, she really IS tiny. How old is she? I am assuming she is still a puppy, e.g. less than six months? She does suit the name Ruby but I will stick with her ‘middle’ name, Princess . Its so difficult to judge the size of dogs unless they are put beside something we recognise, so lots of thanks to the foster family for making her (lack of ) size clear. Another one for me to follow. I actually follow all the dogs but have to admit to having my little gang of favourites
May 5, 2011 at 1:18 pm #104671susiedubMemberPrincess ( Kate haha !) is just over 6 mths old . She is doing very well . She has loads of energy ,in bursts, which usually follows a half hour sleep. She is good for us at night , thank God ! It would be great if we had her energy ! She is getting on well with our two and also another dog in foster we have, but sometimes I have to take her offside, they just can’t keep up with her ! I just lift her up for a while and carry on with whatever I am doing ,to give them a break , she is so light anyway , so tiny . She she seems to have a permanent smile on her face too !

Just a quick note to let you and everyone at DID know that ‘Princess’ (who has since changed her name to ‘Pookie’) has settled in to family life in Dun Laoghaire wonderfully.
She has stolen the hearts of every family member and is our other dog Elmo’s very best friend as well as ‘partner in crime’!Attached is a photo taken last friday with Pookie and Elmo sharing a bone. More like a tug of war.
Pookie hardly barks at all any more. She’s too busy having fun and playing with Elmo.
