Princess came home with us today, It was a very exciting time for all involved. She slept all the way home, and does’nt like to leave my 2 Daughters out of her sight she will just sit at the door and cry after them. She is sleeping right now and everyone thinks they have to tip toe around so they won’t wake her. will sort out some photo’s over the next few days.

FidelmaOctober 19, 2009 at 12:49 pm #83805dogsrockMemberWe have re named princess, She is now poppy. As much as the name Princess suited her they little girl next door is called princess and as she plays with my daughters all the time we thought it might get a bit confusing as time when on. She seems to be happy with her new name . She is sleeping very well at night and she cried this morning when my Daughters went to school she keeps checking all the rooms to try find them. I think poppy loves the girls more than she loves me

Sounds like the girls are her very best friends, you are only the one who feeds her and cleans up after her.I am sure though there are sneaky cuddles when you are on your own with her,
Love to all
CathyOctober 22, 2009 at 7:58 pm #88055dogsrockMemberHi Cathy
All is going well with our new addition to our family. I can’t believe poppy is with us less than a week, I feel likes she has always been here, Yes I am the only one to clean up after her, although girls are very good at making sure she has food and water. Poppy is only short of picking up a book when the girls are doing their homework she is so funny. She crys in the car every morning when I drop them to school. But the cuddles I can give her when it’s just the 2 of us is great shes starting to sit and wait on them when we come home every morning. Shes starting to go to the back door when she wants to go to the toilet (shes so intelligent!!) She wont stay still to get her photo taken all we have is when shes asleep. will get photos up soon

We hope your back is doing ok and you are getting it sorted, We are all doing really well here especially Poppy she is doing really well with the toilet training and she has taken a good stretch I am not forgetting about posting photos of her but my camera is acting up and I had to leave it in to be fixed. I see you have heard from tammi’s new mom Tammi seems to be doing really well also. have you heard how Flopsy and Sandy are doing? We are counting the days till Poppy gets her final injections so we can bring her out for a walk, we put the lead on her out the back trying to get her use to it but she doesnt like it very much at the moment. We will keep you up dated as promised

Princess now Poppy was a stubborn little girlie while here and really knows her own mind, have you tried her with a harness?
I have had no updates as yet from Sandy or Flopsy but hopefully soon.
The back will be sorted very soon I hope and we will be back fostering babies I hope!
Please keep the updates coming and I am looking foward to seeing photos, she must be getting big.You can always bring her down to the Halloween walk and just carry her inside your coat????
I will be going and sitting in the car while Aidan takes Nelson for his annual sniffing day out, have to raise a few bob somehow!October 27, 2009 at 11:15 pm #89110dogsrockMemberHi Cathy
Yeah got harness for her and she hides under the table when she sees it in my hand, and yes she sure is stuborn if we walk out of the room she will cry so when we come back in she will let us put the harness on her. When and were is the halloween walk?
We brought her up to see my parents dog on Sunday and she made sure she let Cassie know that she was going to be the boss. It was so funny looking at the 2 of them.

Hope to see you all there!November 7, 2009 at 11:57 pm #89571dogsrockMemberHi Cathy
Sorry we couldnt make it to the walk last week end but it was the girls birthday and we were having a little party, hope it went well. Poppy is doing great she now knows that when shes getting the harness on her it means shes going out for a walk today was our longest walk as we were trying to ease her in, she was quite tired when we got home. She wanted to play with the ducks in the park it was so funny hearing her little bark. It took us so long to get around the park cos everyone kept stopping to say hello to Poppy.
Our vet checked her microchip and it scanned no problem. I seen the photos of Tammi she is also so cute and she seems to be getting on really well also. It must make you so happy when you see your little babies growing up. All the foster families are doing great work well done to you all.
My camera is still not fixed so I think I will take a photo with my phone and just text it to you if thats ok? As I am dying for you to see what poppy is like now.

hope you are keeping well. Poppy is doing great I think she wants to start school with the girls she still looks for them every morning when i come home. She loves her walks and last week Amber was sick so on Sunday I only got Poppy out for a short walk and when she seen that we were heading to the house she sat down and wouldnt move (she can still be a bit stuburn at times). The girls wrote to Santa on Poppys behalf and she has a bigger list than they do.
I’m really sorry I have no photos to put up but my camera is unfixable but the girls are getting a camera for Christmas so please be patient I will get some up.
I meet one of the pups you fostered, probably not long before you had Poppy. We met them in tymon park. pups name is Ben hes 6 months old a beautiful tan coloured terrier (I think)
I seen Tammi’s photos shes so cute too
talk soonSusan Mia Amber and Poppy xx
