This girl is full of life, great with other dogs and travels well in the car…she is used to living with another dog so will only be homed with a canine companion..

She has an incredibly sweet nature and loves to please you. She loves the company of dogs and people but especially children. She is definitely at her happiest when children are around! Poppy would be the perfect addition to a family with children and preferably another dog. She really is one of the special ones…

naghbane1 060.JPGOctober 30, 2014 at 12:16 pm #122047angandmagsMemberHi everyone,
Just to let you all know that Poppy is doing great. When she came to us, we were told that she was very fond of climbing and jumping over walls…but as Kathy suggested to us…because she feels safe and loved, this has not been a problem. She sometimes likes to have a little ‘adventure’ when we’re out walking but her call-back is excellent and she never lets us out of her sight so no traumatic events to report on that one!
We’d like to ask for your advice however. She is frightened of loud noises such as the hoover and hairdryer. We arranged for her to be groomed, but on hearing the noise of the clippers, she was terrified and jumped over the groomer’s shoulder! We would really prefer not to sedate her but she really needs a good groom…any suggestions???
Poppy is truly a lovely little girl…full of love and cuddles. She has such a gentle, sweet nature. She will make a beautiful addition to any family who have lots of affection to give.
Ang, Mags, Ben and Poppy.November 8, 2014 at 6:14 pm #122191angandmagsMemberPoppy has been with us for a few weeks and has been a pleasure. she is so loving and is learning how to play with other dogs in the park. she loves children so much, she runs across the park to go and lick their hands. Poppy used to live in the country and is getting used to the city life now: she is not scared of traffic anymore and is getting better with trains. she still hates the hair dryer and any loud sudden noises. but she will get there!!!
