An open invitation is extended to pet parents and animal lovers to join their local Maxi Zoo store for the launch of the ‘Give Paw!’ fundraiser this Saturday. Maxi Zoo is inviting customers visiting any one of their sixteen stores nationwide to donate €1 to the ‘Give Paw’ campaign in aid of the charities which are making a real difference in their local communities. Every customer making a €1 donation will receive two ‘Give Paw!’ stickers, one of which can be placed onto a ball and dropped into a ball pit which has been placed in their local Maxi Zoo store to present a picture of how their generosity adds up to making a difference. Customers can also choose to donate through a Facebook App on Maxi Zoo’s Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/maxizooireland. Pet parents can upload a photo of their pet through the App and Maxi Zoo will donate €1 for each photo submitted. The total amount raised through the App will be divided equally between the eighteen pet charities that Maxi Zoo is supporting. The hardworking volunteers behind each of the charities will also attend their local Maxi Zoo store on Saturday October 4th to provide an insight in the valuable charitable work that they carry out to care for abandoned and stray animals. Each charity will also bring along dogs looking for a new home and will provide those interested in becoming pet parents with an opportunity to meet the dogs for the first time. The fun day out also includes face-painting for children and the opportunity to win some great competitions.
