How lovely to see and hear about Bubs’ holiday. He is still tiny and gorgeous isn’t he? Horses, cattle and very large dogs must look very strange to little Bubs. Its so very nice to get the up-dates, did he think Pax was looking good? Wonder if his family will be in touch soon. Thank you for the up-date, Bubs obviously enjoyed his holiday, lucky boy.
Ok to here is a few recent pics of Bubs…he is getting on great now and his personality has really come out. He is hillarious, very bubbly and jumpy and loves to be by Taz’s side at all times…P9080004.JPG

Bubs, what big paws your have – not really but you do have lots of freckles and a pair of spectacles! Your ‘spectacles’ make you look very well read. Its great to have caught up with you and Pax. I love the image of you in your coat
, it suits you. You clearly had a lovely holiday and your first swim, brave little dog. I am very happy to see you have a great family, look after them. Please drop in to saya hello now and again, nice to hear from you and you are as cute ever. ![]()
Well earlier today I was walking Bubs on the seafront in Clontarf and little Bubs pulled off his collar and lead off and ran out on the road….He is fine but he was hit by a car …he is just home from the vets and is resting in front of the fire. He was sedated and has a cast on his paw. He has a tiny hairline fracture and will be on pain killers for the next 5 days. The vet also said he would have been fairly traumatised by it too. Poor fella. He is getting lots of TLC and fussing about him by us, more then usual! It could have been so much worse. The people in the car were lovely, they had just picked up a new puppy themselves and had her in the car with them. I could see it happening and I could do nothing to stop it…poor fella ran back to me screaming and I could see his paw looked broken. I want to erase that memory forever. I for sure am severely traumatised by the whole thing.

Ah, the poor wee man! He certainly had a lucky escape and something like that can happen so easily. Both of you just concentrate on the healing part now and he’ll be running about in no time at all….young bones heal quicker too.
Bubs, you are looking very comfy on that lovely bed in front of a roaring fire.
You just need a nice mug of (doggy) hot chocolate now to complete the picture. Grounded for 5 days, that is a long time for a puppy dog to stay put, good luck, that massive dressing on your leg should certainly help. Hasn’t he also grown
, I am amazed how big they have grown from such teeny tiny puppies. I adore these little boys, I really do and its great to see them, even if Bubs does have a wonky leg
. Tazzer you should go and relax in a nice warm bath, things are not as bad as they could have been and Bubs will not have a clue why is leg has such a dressing on it. I imagine he will have massive fun over the next few days trying to remove it.
Please let us know how you all get on ![]()
Bubs ….are you sure you are not a cat…..if you were you would have used up two lives already …. first one being rescued and the second one surviving being hit by a car……You are one lucky little boy…..get better soon as Mutley said youny bones heal quickly and well… and be good for your poor mum who needs a very large drink this evening.
Just spoke to this little rascals mammy and all is well ![]()
Hi Everyone, just to let you know Bubs is doing well and back on his leg like nothing happend! He pulled the bandage/cast off yesterday but the vet said to expect that. I on the other hand am still traumatised by the whole thing!
Just wondering how baby Bubs is doing? Has he removed his cast yet? Is he climbing the walls, are YOU climbing the walls? Half way there now, healing with each day passing. You will get out soon Bubs, hang on in there. Bet you are getting spoilt rotten.
Look at that, Indianna’s questions were replied to before she even asked them!
Great to hear Bubs is doing so well; and Tazzer, keep working on your nerves! ![]()
Now Tazzer, you need to continue with your healing now. Get your favourite things (??chocolate, G&T, nice wine, brandy, etc), enjoy them, Bubs won’t have clue what happened. He would just have had a good time removing his cast (hope he has not devleoped a taste for plaster!!!) Up and walking, good boy and its only just 5 days, you are a little roughty toughty Bubs but don’t scare your mother (or us) like that again.
Is Bubs fully mended now? Still restricted exercise or ready to take on the world again? Now Bubs, no more traffic for you, listen to your people and tell your mother I am asking for her. I hope she has managed to get over the huge fright she also got.
Hi There,
Well Bubs is doing grand now after his accident. He will also be going in for his ‘operation’ before Christmas, hopefully it may calm him down, he’s gone very hyper and jumpy the last few weeks, little scamp!
I’ve had himself and Taz out playing in the snow all day and he absolutely loves it…he is a scream! Here’s some photos…PB280122.JPG
