Thanks a million ![]()
Lovely little fellow ! Can’t wait to see him ! ![]()
Would have loved to have taken this guy (being a big softie for the Cavaliers) but circumstances did’t allow. He’s a cutie! ![]()
This is the best little man in the world.
Whoever gets to adopt him will be very lucky.
His real name is Chester and he is three years old.
He is vaccinated, microchipped and was neutered today but had a retained testicle so a bit out of sorts yet.
He adores children, is good with other dogs and loves cats.
He is lead trained and is fantastic in the jeep.
What more could anyone want.

Hi Im a new member on here. Just had to post to say this little man is so cute!
We adopted CHESTER just a week ago from DOGS IN DISTRESS and we are absolutely thrilled with him. He is a an adorable little dog with the most friendly and loving temperment and cutest little face and lovely colouring. Everybody loves him and I still can’t believe we have been so lucky in getting him. I would like to thank Marie from Dogs in Distress who kept him for us while we went on holiday. I thought he would be lonely here with no other dog as he had a few to play with in Marie’s, but he fitted in immediately and is very happy. I am at home during the day so he has loads of company.
CHESTER SAYS:
Hi I’m Chester. I came to my forever home to live with Sean and Mary here in Blackrock and their two cats, Misty and Zuleika, who are nearly as big as me, they are very fluffy and I have great fun chasing them. I am enjoying exploring all the new places around here out on my walks and meeting all those other dogs out there. Mary says I am the best dog, from the first night she put me to bed I didn’t bark once and havn’t any night since, so I think they are very pleased with me. She says it’s great to adopt an older dog (I am three) as it gives us a second chance to have a happy home and she would recommend it highly.
Here are some pics of me in my new home and out on my walks, there is one of me posing with the felines but I have a bit of work to do there yet.
Love from Chester, Mary, Sean, Misty and Zuleika. (Zuleika is beginning to thaw – just a little.

what beautiful eyes, they could melt your heart
Great to see my little man getting on so well.
He really deserves it………such a great dog I could not find a single fault with him.
Even though humans let him down already he is just so forgiving and forget material, it does your heart good.
Dogs never fail to teach us humans a lesson as long as we are receptive to it.
Good boy Chester a great little ambassador for D.I.D.
ps. Buttons missed you loads but she now has a new buddie called Mollie, I know its very quick but what’s a girl to do when her boyfriend changes address.
Kealan still misses you but you are always welcome here on your holidays if Mary needs to go away.
I met Chester when meeting Gio my Scottie. I thought he was a beautiful dog both in personality and looks. I am so delighted he has found his forever home and he looks so happy. He would brighten up anyone’s life.

Just thought I would drop you a note to wish you, Keelan and all at DID dogs a very happy Christmas. We are so happy with our little Chester everybody loves him, and he is a very loving dog. He has had a few trips in the camper at this stage. He has even been to the Lake District in the UK by boat, which he coped with very well. We had a big family re-union on Friday and of course Chester came along to meet all the cousins. We went to Copenhagen for a few days in December and he stayed with my brother -in-law and his wife. He took to them so fast and was properly pampered. He absolutely loves the bed he can stay there for hours. As I am sending this he is curled up on my lap, where he spends most of his time.
I am attaching some photos of him, two taken with Keelan at your DID day, two in the back garden in the snow and the other one in Barna, Galway.
Enjoy your Christmas and a happy New Year.
