Swimming Goggles and Personalised clothing – I’m suitably impressed
June 23, 2012 at 5:55 am #110183kyelblueMemberIt is so heart warming to see 3 beautiful dogs so happy, pampered and they are experts at gardening they are a credit to you all
June 26, 2012 at 10:20 pm #110228MutleyMemberMany thanks to Kathy for the agility equipment! The slalom poles are a work in progress…oh yes indeed! Mac and Bonnie proved more enthusiastic at jumping than Keeley, who found her ball more interesting (as ever!). . Bonnie worked out it was easier to go around the jump than over. Unfortunately the camera missed the twins jumping over the pole together!
VERDICT: agility is not as easy as it looks (and neither is trying to photograph it!) but the humans get great exercise trying to show how it’s done!

IMG_3156.JPGJune 27, 2012 at 8:00 am #110229IndiannaMemberI would agree on both points. Agility is NOT as easy as it looks and I have quite a stock of in focus jumps, A-frames and ‘walks’. If you look very (VERY) closely you might just pick out the end of a tail or the start of a nose or something so fuzzy that it is impossible to work out that it is a dog jumping. I have discovered the multiple exposure now so I should have half a chance of a decent shot. I am very impressed that the Scotties are having a go at the jumps, they are clearly interested otherwise they wouldn’t bother Look forward to hear how they get on
August 17, 2012 at 6:18 pm #111013MutleyMemberHello all! Today is a very special day….it’s our second anniversary of adoption and we are also celebrating our 5th birthday, which is this month. Mac misunderstood the celebrations and has arranged a ‘Stag Party’ but only invited his two sisters (looking forward to enjoying our stag antlers after dinner! We have been on our holidays recently (although our slaves say our lives are a permanent holiday….cheek! ). We include some photos and as you can see, we are clearly dogs in distress.

Having to jump over poles in YOUR garden, rake around rock pools on the beach AND having to get your photos taken to share with the riff raff Hang on, the escape committee is on its way Happy birthday when it comes, I am sure your slaves will give you both a day to be recorded for the rest of us

niall and niamh.JPGAugust 23, 2012 at 8:17 pm #111095angjoMemberDelighted Mac, Bonnie and Keeley had a lovely holiday, very impressive work going on in the rock pool
Mac and Bonnies must have a great groomer as we were all very impressed by their fab hair cuts and scottie tails. We find it hard to get the scottie cut and it can be abit hit and miss at times.August 23, 2012 at 9:21 pm #111097MutleyMemberMac and Bonnie appreciate the grooming compliments. They go to Martina in the Dog Groomers (formerly Doggy Doos) in Applewood Village in Swords, ph 01 8971243…they LOVE Martina and don’t mind dragging their family half way around Dublin for their salon demands!
August 26, 2012 at 9:22 pm #111145DID RescueKeymasterDead right Mac and Bonnie you make sure you are brought to the hairdresser that highlights your good points.
Most people never find that right person
You are also very lucky people and you will never realise it………. no on ever bought me a holiday home
You all look like you are really enjoying life and Keeley is getting lots of training tips from you pair…… some not really desirable
I see the beds have been left alone recently but of course its Summer so gardening takes over.August 26, 2012 at 10:21 pm #111152angjoMemberThanks Mutley for the phone number for the groomer, we will give her a call. We have a great groomer for the Bichons but would like to get someone experienced in cutting scotties. hope the gardening is going well
September 24, 2012 at 2:44 pm #111556MutleyMemberAh, the joys of country life! Loads of moo-cows in the field behind our holiday abode, after the long grass was cut. We asked the slaves if we could keep this one, as it matches our coats! Now if we could only get the sheep to come into the garden… We do find it a bit tiring trying to "look after" two gardens but we do our best and continually show where improvements are needed. Otherwise, both are in good form and just had their hair done…meaning their tartan coats join us on walks due to the drop in temperature!
