Attitude! They say some models won’t get out of bed for less than 20 grand to do a photo shoot!
October 18, 2010 at 12:12 am #101934MutleyMemberWell, over the last five weeks we’ve been busy helping our new sis Keeley settle in – she’s a natural at being naughty, so it makes it quite easy for us! Today we went for a long walk up to a local park and chased seagulls. We were keen to continue our "warm-up exercises" on a family of swans resting on the pond bank but apparently they were off limits…humph! Our Mum says we’re like Tasmanian Devils (particularly Bonnie! ) and we have the markings to prove it – we each have two cloven hooves…eh, pads! Oh, nearly forgot…we tried eating our new bed but despite being more colourful, it just wasn’t as tasty as the last one….try, try and try again! Mac and Bonnie xxx

October 18, 2010 at 10:56 am #101938MutleyMemberWell Indianna, they did up to 10 a.m. this morning, when they destroyed Keeley’s expensive bed! Apparently, this one had a much better flavour and made most pleasing ripping sounds. Anyone know of a supplier of concrete beds?!?
October 18, 2010 at 11:20 am #101941IndiannaMemberSorry about the bed but they are clearly having a ball and nothing is off limits. They must be re-living puppy days. Did they have a nice life when they were puppies? They are clearly VERY happy under you care and so beautiful too but then the ‘cloven paw’ should be a bit of a give away
October 19, 2010 at 9:38 am #101964MutleyMemberWe’ve been bad…very bad! In under 24 hours we have destroyed TWO beds…our sister Keeley’s and now ours this morning, in mere minutes! The jury is still out on whether Keeley was also involved . We are very pleased with ourselves – that’s 3 beds trashed now…totalling €168! Our parents reckon there is a niche market for Kevlar bedding! Mac and Bonnie xxx

But at least you still seem to be finding humour in it all…. or is it a case of if I don’t laugh I’ll cry! I still haven’t got the carpet in the landing replaced yet since Tess (Rudi) took a very sudden dislike to it…. and that cost £900+ ! Maybe they still have a few half price dog beds left on the DID shop thread???? (Maybe you should buy them all!)
October 19, 2010 at 3:42 pm #101971juneMemberThose beds look very badly made I guess the dogs were just showing you
Those Rogz ones would go down a treat
You would swear butter wouldnt melt in their mouthsOctober 19, 2010 at 7:47 pm #101980dogsruleMemberIt’s a pity about the dog beds. At least your dogs made SOME use of the beds. Dabs and Brandon either sleep on our beds in rotation or pull off the duvets onto a pile on the floor and perch themselves on top. Meanwhile their own beds are used by them sparingly while I like some fool follow the doggies from room to room dropping the beds near them to see if they take a fancy to actually using them Dogs…a law on to themselves!
November 23, 2010 at 11:01 pm #102878MutleyMemberHi all! Many thanks for your replies and advice. Well, we continue to wreak havoc (in a nice way ) and the garden is almost the way we want it now – we don’t agree with the saying "leave things as you find them"!
We have a smart new plastic bed (the concrete ones were out of stock ). We are enjoying bed sharing – Bonnie in Keeley’s bed (with or without Keeley); Keeley in with Mac; and sometimes we all share the one bed! We get on very well together but Keeley keeps rounding us up during games and gently nips our hind quarters….eh, as if we look like the black sheep of the family?!
We went to the beauty salon (Doggy Doos in Swords) last week and got a much needed wash, cut and blow dry. Thanks to Martina and Nicole for doing such a lovely job! We even found ourselves on Facebook from the last visit there! [url:21tk9m3l]http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1571170808747&set=o.136186633077456[/url:21tk9m3l]. Oh, the fame…

November 24, 2010 at 8:10 pm #102886buzzsmomMemberFantastic photos , nice demonstration of how strategy is a male strength
they look like a bundle of fun.November 25, 2010 at 9:40 pm #102921martinacareyMemberAw great photos, I took some of them in the shop while they were in so must put them up! These pair are so beautiful and gentle and a pleasure to groom. Myself and Nicole had great fun watching them as they were both watching the leaves dancing in the wind at the window and their heads moved in all the same directions at the same time it was gas!
