Ah look at those innocent little faces!!!
August 25, 2010 at 6:56 pm #100431dogsruleMemberYou’re lucky the bed had that duvet fluffy stuff in it…never get the beds with the polystyrene beads…our non-DiD dog had one and the static on the beads wasn’t funny…months later they’d turn up! Glad M and B are back eating their dinners again!
August 25, 2010 at 9:59 pm #100444IndiannaMemberI bet they had a ball trashing that bed:) They really are quite gorgeous and terriers through and through. Their family should get them jobs as dog-bed and dog-toy testers
August 25, 2010 at 11:10 pm #100446angjoMemberThis is so familiar to me as my little scottie Hamish loves nothing better than shredding a bed, kitchen towels and other materials. We think we have it Hamish proof but Hamish has other ideas. I now have a strapless Bra thanks to Hamish
August 26, 2010 at 7:57 am #100448martinacMemberoh my! this has made my day. These little beauties have been so long looking for a forever home and its just so wonderful to see that they did not have to be split up. What an amazing home you both have found..thank you so much mum and dad!. they look so so happy..lovely to see a happy ending like this..best of luck to you both and a long and happy life
August 26, 2010 at 8:20 pm #100474ColganFamilyMemberI have to agree that it is WONDERFUL to see that other people’s dog beds end up like this – I was sure it was just ours. We have gone through several at this stage but it is heartening to know that we aren’t the only owners of manic bed-destroyers. Mac and Bonnie are such beautiful dogs and they look so innocent after their "moment of madness".
September 28, 2010 at 3:24 pm #101510MutleyMemberHi everyone! Sorry we have been a bit quiet of late, as we’ve had a very busy month. Lots of things to wreck (done! ) and we had our summer holiday too! We went to Donegal and stayed at a lighthouse – we even managed to fit in some surfing! Everywhere we went we were hounded by the puparazzi, so plenty of photos. The day after returning from hols, we went along to the DID Fun Day. We did get a little overexcited due to the excitement and noise etc., so apologies if anyone saw our pearly whites a little too close up!
The other BIG news is we now have a new sister – apparently we weren’t doing enough damage! She’s called Keeley and is a 2 year old (approx.) rescue border collie. She’s a smaller size collie but still big enough to reach things that we can’t….wohay! During covert ops last week, Keeley got hold of our big brother’s specs and ate them…we reckon she should have gone to Specsavers though. Keeley loves Mac but his twin is keeping a protective eye on him – paws off!
We have been teaching Keeley very useful stuff, such as how to play with toys (so long as they aren’t OUR ones!!) and more importantly, how to trash all the plants in the garden. Do let us know if anyone needs some compost material! Bonnie LOVES butterflies (and anything else unfortunate enough to have wings!), so many tall plants have been shortened in the pursuit of nature studies. All of us are experts at dead-heading, although we find it much better if you start from the base of the plant up. As a trio, we have also thinned the lawn, as it looked far too lush – it now serves as a much better racecourse for our morning run around, with those characteristics sods scattered here and there. Mac reckons Keeley has the legs to be a racehorse. Incidentally, we are open to all reasonable offers for professional greenkeeping services.
Oooooh, our new tartan collars and leads will be arriving in the post any day now – hard to get in Ireland! Mac reckons he should have got a kilt too but Keeley said one sister in the family was more than enough. Mac and Bonnie xoxox (and Keeley but she’s too young to use the computer on her own yet).

Take Care and keep up the demolition derby that you are in training for!
September 28, 2010 at 7:59 pm #101528dogsruleMemberI see they do a bit of modelling as well, very photogenic! We’ll have to see them in this season’s tartan!
September 28, 2010 at 8:02 pm #101529MutleyMemberThanks Audrey, it was great seeing you again too and also Kathy. Of course, we can’t forget to mention Arlene and John, who we impressed with the results of our "behavioural" training…ahem! It was great to see them again. Last but by no means least, we loved meeting our fellow countryman, Hamish (Gio)…we Scots must stick together, och aye! Mac and Bonnie xoxox
IMG_2367a.JPGSeptember 29, 2010 at 3:33 pm #101486CFeelyMemberAh Mutley, they are great photos. Bonnie and Mac look sooo happy in them, and as for Keeley, she looks like she has always been there (she is absolutely gorgeous, by the way). It was great to meet you too at the fun day and your little doggies are just fab. . Good luck with the next phase of destruction and dont forget to nail down your carpets!
September 29, 2010 at 9:30 pm #99629angjoMemberHamish sends regards to Mac and Bonnie, he really enjoyed the chat at the fun day. Keeley is a stunner, the collie’s are amazing dogs. Hamish is very impressed with the gardening tips and has a keen interest himself in clearing a garden of all floral arrangements. It must be a scottie thing. Hamish has taken up football in a big way and now has a big football. Will post a video soon
October 2, 2010 at 2:25 pm #100525MutleyMemberAs promised, sporting this season’s tartan…there were two in the bed and the little one said MOVE OVER MAC!!! Post bath, new bed (no comment!), new blankets and new wardrobe – what more could a Scottie ask for!
