InactiveThis beautiful lady arrived this morning and is settling in well, took her on a stroll and she is very good on the lead. She met my crazy lot and is loving being surrounded by other dogs. Gave her some food and she had no problems with us sticking our hands in the bowl. She is a typical energetic Lab puppy and will need a home where she gets regular exercise and mental stimulation. Remember Labs stay in puppy mode until they are about 2!!! Will get some pics up later.

InactivePlaying in the garden…..excuse the length of the grass
This little lady has boundless energy. And is now sitting at my feet panting like crazy. Hoping an evening stroll will relax her before bed.

InactiveWell this lady had a bit of a restless night but being in a new house can be a bit scary. She will definitely need to go to a home that will have time to train her and walk her daily. She has found a spot in the corner of the living room between the 2 couches that she naps in. She loves her walks and is excellent on the lead. I’m hoping when she settles we can work on her commands. She is extremely affectionate and loveable and with the right training will make a wonderful addition to the right home

InactiveDelighted to report that we all got a good nights sleep last night
I was worried as she is used to sleeping outside (in her previous home)
, that we might have a few accidents but thankfully my floors have been spotless. Maya is a very happy dog and just wants to play, even after my lot have decided they’ve had enough she’s still standing, tail wagging with a big Lab goofy smile on her face. I’m going to take her to the park on her own today and hopefully tire her out!!!

InactiveAnother peaceful night with no accidents
Its a joy to see her smiling face through the Baby(Labrador) gate at the bottom of the stairs in the morning!! She has calmed down a little now that she is used to being with the other dogs. She’s not keen on being put out and you have to coax her but once she’s there she’s content enough to chill out on the decking. I keep a huge bucket of water outside and she loves biting the water when i’m filling it which is funny as my lot won’t go near it till the tap is turned off and i’ve moved away, she just ends up with a soaking wet head
I have 3 huge dog beds but she is much happier to curl up in "her" corner when she fancies a nap.

InactiveDelighted to say Maya is doing great. She was totally hyper when she got here but thankfully the constant jumping has stopped, she now sits for her food and is going out the back garden without any coaxing. I got her a rope toy and a squeeky bone and she had great fun with both, although the squeeky one has mysteriously "disappeared"
She loves tug of war and chasing the ball although we haven’t mastered giving it back yet!!! She has become really affectionate and i got several kisses today. She really is a sweetie with a constant smiley face.

InactiveAm falling in love with Maya each day she is getting more affectionate, I attempted to take a photo of the gang which didn’t go as well as I hoped…Maya is the Blur
Funnily enough her and Buster (chocolate) seem to have bonded which is very odd as Buster is indifferent to other dogs!!! They play wrestle and when she gets a bit cheeky he lets her know and off they go again…She just wants to be loved and craves your attention which will make her easy to train. Unfortunately in this house she has to compete with 3 other dogs for pets which can lead to some hilarious acrobatics to get to the top of the line.
She is house trained, spayed and microchipped and ready to go to a family who can offer her everything she deservesMaya 20.jpg

InactiveMaya was wrecked after the hot couple of days we had, no matter how many times i tried to move her into the shade she was happier flaked out in the sun. She still loves drinking from the outside tap and i think she soaking herself on purpose to cool down
You can’t go anywhere in the house without her following at your heel, i think she’s afraid she’s going to miss something.Maya 22.jpg
