This little girl is wormed, vaccinated & microchipped. She needs a nice quiet home where she will get all the love and attention she deserves. She still has plently of pep in her step and still enjoys her daily walks.

…older dogs rule.
I would say to anyone looking here to adopt and thinking "Mollie is a little bit older than I was looking for"…. Think Again.
On that subject… of all the old sayings that I have ever heard, "you can’t teach an old dog new tricks" is the most nonsensical. All dogs, including older dogs, love the one-on-one attention that training brings. Older foster dogs have arrived in our home and looked at us in confusion when we’ve asked them to sit, stay or come. With the use of a few treats and some basic training they quickly learn how things work in their new home.
This post is born out of my great love of older dogs.

I’m trying desperately hard to avert my eyes from photos of Mollie………temptation beyond endurance!!!!!
May 13, 2012 at 8:19 pm #109763LisaMemberHi there
I’m just wondering if you know how Mollie is with cats?
Thanks a milMay 15, 2012 at 2:02 pm #109573kaydoyleMemberMolly has never lived with cats so it would be hard to know if she could live with them.
Molly is a middle aged dog who’s looking for a new home as her previous owner is returning to work full time and doesn’t want to leave her alone all day.
She’s so cute and sweet and loves to watch TV especially Game of Thrones and the Dog Whisperer. She’s very gentle and affectionate – no issues with food aggresssion but she’s not really sure how to behave around other dogs and children so perhaps best suited to a quiet home where she won’t be bothered too much. She has lots of little quirks – loves to sit with her head on the ground and her bum in the air wagging her tail – adorable!
She’s house trained and is well past the chewing stage so your furniture and shoes are safe in her presence
She really is the sweetest little dog and I’d love to keep her myself if circumstances allowed but she could benefit from a house with a garden and someone who can take her for regular walks.
She’s also a great little guard dog – her bark sounds much bigger than her size but she will settle down when told to stop barking and she doesn’t get upset if you leave her in the car for a few minutes or alone in the house.

molly2.jpgJune 26, 2012 at 6:29 pm #110227Angela1MemberMollie I’m stunned that you are still waiting for a forever home.
You are adorable and sound like the perfect lady. 9 years is really only middle age … we have an 8 year old terrier who behaves like the Durracell Bunny!! I’m sure your foster family are treating you like a princess, but I have fingers and toes crossed that your happy ever after comes along very soon.
