Well this little beauty has been with me for a week now and she has come on in leaps and bounds ….. every day there is some progress!
She is very very small……only 8.5kgs here she is beside my big boy Rossi who is just under 48kgs
Learning to play with toys….Even willing to play tug with Velvet (who doesn’t play with any other dogs) huge progress for both my little ladies

Missy will entertain herself if she hasn’t someone to play with
When she wins a toy her look alone tells you that she ain’t giving it back

June 23, 2013 at 1:32 pm #116056LuvMyFurKidsMemberHi Neena85, she loves to be with other dogs but is very easily distracted and she is really tiny not sure if she would be suited…..she is a bit fearful of new experiences…..have a look at Patch the 2yr Sprollie his foster family think he would be excellent at the sport.
June 23, 2013 at 2:26 pm #116057LuvMyFurKidsMemberMissy had a great day trip to the sunny south east last week…..and had her first off lead experience which she didn’t do too bad at!
In mid-flight coming down off of the rocks…..in her element
Sticking close to her foster fur sister who was showing her the ropes!
Things went swimmingly!

2013-06 Sunny South East 016.JPGJune 23, 2013 at 6:10 pm #116062Neena85MemberHi again! I’m looking for a pup to start the training nice and early. I have a large dog who does agility but am looking for small/medium dog. Is she quite active or does she spend most of the time sleeping and chilling out?
June 23, 2013 at 8:33 pm #116065GadeiaMemberHi Audrey,
Has Missy had any experience with cats? How do you think she would get on with them?
Thanks a lot
June 23, 2013 at 11:00 pm #116069LuvMyFurKidsMemberHi Neena85, she does plenty of both ….loves running when out and happy to snooze when she is home and if none of the others want to play she happily amuses herself…..is your large dog male or female….as she does better with females. If you are interested in meeting her please fill in an application form and one of the Admin team will be in-touch.
Hi Gadeia, she hasn’t had any direct contact with cats here in my home however there is a cat that taunts all my dogs three floors above me and they all bark at the poor thing but I’m not sure is she is just joining in the ruckas or that she actually doesn’t like them…..is you cat an indoor one and is it use to dogs?
June 25, 2013 at 9:14 pm #116097LuvMyFurKidsMemberMissy was back down in the sunny south east again for another road trip and we did a forrest and beach hike…..but no photos as didn’t have a free hand with 5 dogs.
Having a snack to build up the energy levels for the big walk.
Chillaxin on my own for all of 30seconds
Time for my close up

Here she is napping after a mad half hour with the wacky races and an epic tug of toy that moved from room to room

July 31, 2013 at 11:57 am #116607LuvMyFurKidsMemberSorry for the lack of posts but we have been really busy having a ball of a time on different beaches and forrest hikes…..
When she came first she had a bad reaction to being lifted by anyone – she has had examinations and x-rays and we are delighted there is no sign of injury however it does mean that her dislike to it is Psychological…but since then she has learned how to jump up into the back of the car and onto the couch …now there is no stopping her leaping ability ….I do lift her on a daily basis but on her terms & I lift her in the same manner so she knows what to expect and she allows me do this.
She was a terrific big foster sister to Scarlett the springer pup who came on holidays with us for a week and they were so entertaining – who needs TV.
Missy is doing great with play interaction- she has improved so much and tries to be the boss on the odd occasion when it comes to play time….
Missy is a total water baby and doesn’t let the waves put her off as she is on 8.5kg and a tiny little lady. She has been in the sea so much that her coat is starting to rust …..ok well not her coat but all her ID tags!
Super little eater and has fantastic recall even though she runs like the wind she just does a U-turn back to you when you call her name.
Promise to update soon!
