Any news on Minnie? I hope she is ok?
April 14, 2011 at 5:03 pm #104668ColganFamilyMemberPoor old Minnie is still battling away. She is brighter than she was when we took her to the vet but she is still there and still on a drip! Unfortunately, Munchie has now joined her. They are both on drips and receiving antibiotics so hopefully their systems will respond. Very quiet without them here. Thank you, everyone SO MUCH for keeping them in your thoughts – we all really appreciate it. Keep you posted.
April 15, 2011 at 8:15 am #104680IndiannaMemberI hope the puppies are making good progress Once they are over whatever it is they have picked up they will be flying They are both in my thouhts as is their foster family.
April 15, 2011 at 8:24 am #104681ColganFamilyMemberThanks a million, Indianna and everybody. A bit of good news this morning – they are both much brighter than yesterday and have been reunited in the one bunk Not quite ready to come home yet but it’s looking good
April 15, 2011 at 8:35 am #104682IndiannaMemberThat is great news. They will be much happier together but we will keep up the ‘vibes’ and look forward to hearing about them when they are back home.
April 15, 2011 at 9:06 am #104683laineyMemberStill keeping everything crossed for Minnie & Munchie. I’m so glad they are together today – it will make things a little less stressful for the poor mites.
April 15, 2011 at 11:22 am #104684clairefMemberDropped my little Nemo in first thing this morning for his netuer op and could hear the two pups chatting away out the back looking for their breakfast! Nemo was just fixated on the door and couldnt wait to get through it to see who was there! Hope they ready to come home to you soon!
April 15, 2011 at 8:45 pm #104696ColganFamilyMemberHi everyone. I am home Poor Munchie is still in the vets though – hope to have him home tomorrow. I am feeling much better and have been tearing around playing and chewing and eating my really special food that the vet gave me!!! I was SO happy to get home to Sam, Tigra, Mollie and Casper and all the human Colgans too. Thank you to everyone who thought about me while I was sick – all that positive energy helped me a lot.
April 15, 2011 at 10:34 pm #104700juneMemberWelcome back Minnie munchie will be missing you
everything will be back to normal please god tomorrowApril 16, 2011 at 10:09 am #104714laineyMemberGreat to hear from you Minnie.
I have no doubt you are receiving humongous doses of TLC from the Colgans (both human & canine)! Hopefully you will have to "move over in the bed" very soon to make room for Munchie.April 19, 2011 at 7:16 pm #104786ColganFamilyMemberWell our little minx got back her partner-in-crime this evening when Munchie came home from the vets. We are delighted to have him home but I hope Mark (the vet) was joking when he asked me to keep him quiet tonight Minnie is SO THRILLED to have her little bro back and he is so charmed to be home that they haven’t stopped playing manically since he came through the door Minnie, herself, has been fantastic since she came home and is living up to her high-energy reputation with a vengeance!!! I managed to grab a few quick snaps of her lying in the sun in between bouts of chewing and playing so here they are.

CAM_0480.JPGApril 23, 2011 at 9:44 am #104873ColganFamilyMemberWell our little Minx is truly back to her effervescent self again after her sickness and her enforced separation from the Munchkin – she is doing GREAT!!! We have been working on the chewing and play-biting and she has really improved in this area. She responds very well to the word "NO" so she is learning. She has that most endearing terrier trait of putting her head to one side to listen when you talk to her or if she hears a strange noise. Toilet training is coming along too but it is a work in progress!!. Minnie has really blossomed into a very sweet, playful girl and all the crying and neediness of her early days with us has stopped which is wonderful to see. Munchie will be heading off to his new life next weekend and I really hope that Minnie’s HAPPY ENDING is not too far away. A great little girl.
CAM_0481.JPGApril 30, 2011 at 8:10 pm #104829ColganFamilyMemberWell our little minx was vaxed and chipped on Friday and she didn’t like it ONE LITTLE BIT!!! But in typical doggie fashion, she recovered in seconds and hasn’t looked back since. She is coming on in leaps and bounds and loves to play with her brother Munchie and her foster siblings. She has got taller and stronger, she eats like a horse, sleeps like a log, cuddles like a good’un – she is a great little girl!!
CAM_0492.JPGMay 6, 2011 at 10:59 am #104941ColganFamilyMemberWell this little lady continues to thrive! The arrival of Pepper helped her hugely to cope with the trauma of losing Munchie and the two are the best of pals. They are such demons – both of them – and when they get manic (tearing around in a game of chasing or wrestling or tug of war) we all just sit back and wait until peace descends again. Minnie is very self assured and gives back cheek when she is reprimanded – a little bark and a nod of the head in your direction and you know she is not impressed!!! That said, she is extremely lovable and affectionate, loves her grub, loves her sleep, loves her family. I would love to see her in her very own forever home soon. Here is a recent pic of her in her favourite pose – asleep on or beside one of the biggies. This one is Mollie.
