this poor girl was left in the back garden of a house,he owners moved and left her,she is a bit scared .
What a horrible thing to do, they would not even make the effort and bring her to the pound. I did not see her today, she must be out the back as there is limited space out front.
saw her yesterday in the kennel and she is a beauty. Unfortunately she has an infected paw due to ingrown nail which the vet will look at today!.
Poor little mite. She looks a beautiful little girl.
..How do they sleep at night..!
Poor thing! Any idea about her age or how she is with other dogs?
Sorry I forgot to ask her age today, but she is fine with other dogs. She was a little nervous of me and the other dogs at first. I had to keep her away from the gentlemen dogs as she is in heat, but after meeting ever so playful Chelsea, it gave her such a perk up that she too became playful. I did not have her out too long as there were a lot of other dogs that needed to get out for a walk as there were a limited amount of walkers today. Think all got out.
How is Millie’s paw? Hope her luck changes and she gets a loving home soon.
Millie’s dewclaws are very swollen, I suppose it involves going under anesthethic, so that is unlikely unless she gets into foster or gets rehomed. It does not prevent her from walking but difficult to know if it causes her any discomfort. Hopefully not. Beautiful dog.
Millie is going into foster tomorrow all going well. Thanks to the lovely Catherine and Boo. And also the lovely Kathy for organising everything. Hopefully she will be out safely for christmas!
Great news, thanks to you all.
what super news..had this lovely girl out for long walk yesterday and she was so good..great on the lead and once she gains your trust she likes to stay close to you. I would say she could have had a hand raised to her in the past judging by how she reacts with any sudden hand movement..she cowers away a bit! I am so glad she is getting into foster as she is too timid and nervous and needs some reassurance. A lovely girl ! yes didnt like the look of the dewclaws yesterday but I really dont believe they cause her any great discomfort when walking…probably does if she hits them accidentally. best of luck Milly..another absolute dote to be found in Ashton!!
Lots of love and luck Millie – on your way to a better life
I am so happy that this beautiful girl got out … ![]()
I picked up this sweet little dog from the pound today and brought her to the vets. She has to stay in overnight to get her dewclaws removed as they’re both too infected to save so hopefully she will be more comfortable tomorrow when I pick her up to take her home for Christmas. She’s really sweet, she freaked out in the car but just lay down and wanted to be cuddled in the vet. She’s a beautiful dog, lovely wise eyes. With a bath and some feeding up she’s going to make a wonderful pet. I can’t believe someone would be so heartless to leave her but now she’s embarking on her new life so best not to dwell on her past. I’m looking forward to introducing her to Boo, I’ve told him he’s getting a girlfriend for Christmas, he wagged his tail in approval ![]()
