Up date on Millie.
Millie is doing great
, she loves her food and is great girl to wait for her food,in her turn. She is very confident around the house and in the garden and loves to play. She really enjoys being around her fur foster sister and brother. She will be an amazing pet.
Millie loves attention from everyone in the house fur or human
She is learning very fast ,she really is a very smart little girl. Her training is going very well & she will walk most of the time off the lead. Recall is coming on very well! She is afraid of loud traffic Trucks and Tractors passing in the back ground, so she has not been very near any roads yet.
She sleeps in her own bed during night and stays there all night untill we wake in the morning. She is also very happy to go into her bed when tired during day.
Her toilet training is going very well and we only had 3 little pee’s in the house since she came but we will still work on this
Millie loves the car but get a bit over joyed to be in it and runs around it a lot
I decided to only do shrot drives with her at the moment to get her more settled in the car.
Over all Millie is going to be a very confident little girl, who is very gentel and loves to make you happy ![]()
Up date on Millie!
We have Millie a few weeks now and I’m very happy to say that she is progressing extremely well. She had a very hard start in life but she is not the shy, timid little girl we met on the first day. ![]()
She is doing great on her walks (off lead) and recall is working very well. She amazes me how clever she really is. You can literally see the intelligence in her little eyes.
She is an active girl (NOT destructive in any way) Millie loves to play with her toys, her fur foster brother & sister and her human foster brother. We are a very actives house and Millie loves that.
She is very gentle especially when taking treats by hand. But she is still a baby and thinks all the treats are her
….and my 2 dogs stand back and let her take them all.
She would definitely make a fantasic family pet as she loves being around people and other dogs.
She is brought down to the river every day, and I have to say, she LOVES swimming! She just loves to jump around the water and run up and down the river banks….
Whoever adopts Millie is going to be one lucky person! ![]()

Millie gets a home and "our" darling Alfie gets a buddy – double whammy! So pleased for all of you and it’s a super reflection on rescue dogs, that not alone have you rescued Alfie but you also are happy to home a rescue dog again.
I wish you all the happiness and fun in the World!
