Hi Lora,
I’m probably being a pain at this stage but just wondering how Pete is doing? Haven’t had my homevisit yet but hoping it’ll be this week… I look him up every day… ![]()
Pete is now reserved to his forever home ![]()
Can’t wait to meet him!!!!!
i know you will just love him…ive told him your coming so hes all excited ![]()
see you tomorrow ![]()
Finally got to visit the fabulous Pete yesterday!
He has to be thee most gorgeous specimen of a dog!! I’d go as far as saying you could almost see yourself in his coat with the shine
He is gentle, obedient, affectionate, handsome – everything a dog should be
But…. unfortunately Pete wasn’t for me
My heart told me to throw him in the car the minute I saw him but my head ruled. As already posted, I am recovering from a recent illness. Lora was good enough to bring us out walking with Pete and it was then I realised I’m not quite as strong as I thought I was.
I’m devastated! I cried then, I cried last nite and I’m still upset. Pete deserves to go to a home where he is loved so so much. He’s fantastic. If he was still available in six months I’d swipe him up but right now the reality is I can’t! Anyone who goes to visit Pete will fall in love instantly, only be warned – you won’t leave without him
Keep up the fabulous work Lora ( and that goes for all the volunteers)
Kindest regards,
Sarah
Its unfortuate Pete wasnt the dog for you MadMadra but it wouldnt be fair on both parties if Pete had to be returned if you discovered that too late…so you did the right thing…there is no rush for Pete only to get the right home for him ![]()
Pete is a big dog and can be strong he has come on along way since i got him and thats only 3weeks once whoever takes pete keeps up his lead training he will be the perfect dog he is fine on his own its only when you walk him with more then one dog…so i think that is great progress for pete already the easy solution would be just to stick the halti on but if he can do it on his own he will soon learn to do it in company
he is not doing anything bold just enjoying walking I can walk him on a loose lead when not accompanied by another dog
I brought Pete to donabate house yesterday and he attracted a group of kids who were distracted from their picnic when they saw him and came runnig over as I put him in the back of the jeep and he sat quitely and let them all pet him ![]()
If i can touch my nose with my tongue will you give me the treat ??DSC02201.JPG
Had a bit of a party in the house last night so just a couple of pics of pete and friends
as usual…he was everyones friend on the night and REALLY loved you if you had food !DSC02544.JPG

OMG what a fabulous fella.. We have fallen in love with Pete, it was amazing how well he got on with my 3 kids
Our 2 yr old fell over and Pete was straight over to see if she was ok and gave her a kiss., that was the moment we knew he was for us. Can’t wait for tomorrow to bring Pete home
. Thanks very much to Pete’s foster family for their hospitality this evening.
Soooooooooooooooooooo happy for you Pete…must have been the party hat that clinched the deal…or did you hear on the paw-line that they were Party Animals themselves….either way …a very fond farewell to you as you leave for your forever family home …be a happy hound Dude!
