This little lady is going into foster with Colette today, thanks a million ![]()
I met this little girl today . . .wow what a sweetie!! Meg is tiny!! A pocket pooch! She was loving the treats and taking them so gently while wagging her little tail the whole time! She has a face that would melt your heart I wanted to pick her up and run away with her
I cant believe how small she is cant wait for the updated pics from Collette (thanks for fostering this beauty!) ![]()
Sorry for the delay in posting about our little sweetheart Meg. This is the first time that I have been in a position to foster even though my heart has been breaking every time I have gone to the pound to take out the dogs that have been lucky enough to have found homes. I have always seen the Staffies being left there, nobody seems prepared to give them a chance at life so I always thought that when my circumstances change a Staffie would be the first dog that I would foster. What can I say about this little gem, she is the most gentle, affectionate and loving dog you could ever meet. We will never need to wash ourselves because she is constantly licking us to bits!! She is so obedient, loves her food, God love her she is just skin and bones at the moment, enjoys her walks and trips in the car. Today I took her to the beach to see if she would fancy a paddle in the sea and had to laugh when she started drinking it instead. Obviously it was a first time experience for her. Will post some pics of our beautiful girl tomorrow

So happy for you Meg and for Collette and family; she will have a great home and Staffies have such a sweet loyal personality.

Collette, so THAT’S why you put off fostering for so long!!!
You DID say that you would find it very hard to let them go. . . . . Looks like you got a real sweetheart there and I am so thrilled for you all – especially for Meg.
All the best, Meg – you have found the greatest forever family!

Thanks for your kind comments. We are so happy that Meg has become part of our family. She never stops showering us with love and kisses. She is very gentle, obedient, and intelligent and gets on great with other dogs and people. She has settled in so well we feel she has been with us for years. She is very caring to our new foster patient Mandy. She loves her walks on the beach and it is wonderful to see her running through the dunes without a care, you can see the happiness in her face. I often think when she is sleeping soundly in her bed how she ended up in the Pound like so many other fantastic dogs. It’s great she has got a second chance at life and we are the lucky ones to be able to share it with her. Staffies make the most amazing, affectionate and loyal pets and it’s so sad that very few of them are re-homed in this country. Will post photos soon.

I met Meg in the pound, she is such a sweetie and reminded me so much of our gorgeous Wilson. If I could have brought her home with me I would have!
So very happy to see she has found such a wonderful family to love and care for her.

As you can see this little beauty has settled in quite nicely!
