MemberMeg has been in my care since before Christmas, and what a lovely time she had with my two dogs & family. Luckily, Meg is already toilet trained & has never had an accident.
All Meg wants is to be loved. She gets on with everyone, and would love nothing better than to sit on my knee all night. However, I am training Meg to sit at my feet, as she is very protective & has obviously had a rocky start in life.
This little sweetheart will make a fabulous pet if you are looking for a loyal, affectionate, clever companion.
Previous experience with JRTs would be good, but not essential. If you were to choose to give Meg a chance, she will need some initial reassurance, as she took a while to stop being nervous, at least a week to settle. In my experience little Meggie had been friendly with children, adults & other dogs. She has a big dogs bark, but no real aggression.
Currently, she is recovering & resting after being neutered & enjoys her privacy in her crate. She sleeps quietly through the night, eats great, and loves the odd walk on the lead. I have let her off the lead on our enclosed green & she is so fast a runner, she will speed after the ball & bring it back.
I would be happy to talk to anyone interested in homing Meg, about my foster experience with her.
She will be ready to go to her new home very soon.
Please give Meg a chance. She is a teeny girl, who just needs someone who us willing to give her some time, which in return she will love you forever.
