Would it be possible to remove the"reserved" from Max on the main board. As I presume this is now not the case. Thanks

Sadly we are no longer able to adopt the lovely Max, this is due to a big change in our situation, we didnt even get the chance to meet him

Hope he gets his forever home soon, wish it could of been us.

Max is going to his new home tomorrow. I have no doubt that he will be well loved and have great fun with his lovely new family. This letting go business is difficult but I keep reminding myself of what might have happened if are paths had not crossed all those weeks ago in the City Centre. Its been great fun and he has given me so much love. I really look forward to see the photos of Max happy and settled in to his new home. Good Luck my handsome loving boy! Thanks to everyone who was so suppportive of me and Max in the last couple of months.

Anne dropped Max off at our home a week ago and its been non stop action ever since. We thought we were a reasonably active family until we met Max – in comparison we are a bunch of couch potatos. He gets along great with his new brother Adam and his cat friend Ribery. Thank you so much Anne for everything, and thanks to June who did our homevisit with Marley. Here are a few pics, including the 3 amigos lining up during sandwich assembly. Max is a lovely and loving dog so thanks to everyone at Dogs in Distress for making this happen.

Thanks Liv for the fantastic photos. ‘Sandwich time’ has to be the best photo I have seen in a long time. Adam, Ribery and Max look like the best friends in the world. Fair play to Ribery the cat, in such a short time he has accepted this larger animal friend. Max looks great and you managed to get him into the water! Thanks so much for giving him the best forever home, the one he always deserved. That beach looks lovely, lucky Max.

Thank you for the update on photos of Max and for giving him a new start. Thanks also to Anne to rescued him from Dublin’s busy streets and fostered him until he found he wonderful new home.

    Another happy ending.

Hi. I just had to share with you that Max and I met a woman walking a cute little jack russell terrier this morning at St Annes Park and we got talking and it turned out that she adopted her dog Cara from Dogs in Distress about 4 months ago. So I’d like to take the opportunity to say that Cara (Kara?) and Max were having a grand time chasing this morning.

Going to schedule a reunion with Max’s foster mum Anne soon and I’ll get a photo up then – although as he’s a dog and not a pup he hasnt really changed in appearance. Max continues to love life, we are trying to learn "drop the ball"…
