This boy is in danger of outstaying his welcome in the pound – he has been there for a long time. Sammy is a really great dog with a wonderful temperament. Full of personality, terrific temperament, loves his walks and doesn’t bother with other dogs – very good on the lead – a real pleasure and a great addition to any family. If you think you can help him please contact us.

November 28, 2008 at 7:11 pm #81359JennyMemberSlight mixup – Sabrina is a boy and now named Sammy.
Sammy is neutered, wonderful good natured dog. Came for a walk with me today off the lead. He has good recall, loves to chase his ball and lies down for tummy rubs. Sammy needs a forever or foster home. If you can help him please contact Gwen.
November 30, 2008 at 6:01 pm #81398JennyMemberSammy and I went for our constututional this morning. This little chap lives for his walks – great off the lead – comes when called – he ran with his squeaky toy and then sat down under a tree. Really terrific little dog – if you can offer Sammy a forever or foster home please contact Gwen.

Can anyone please help him and all the other dogs in at the moment? They are in sooooo much danger at the moment and desperatly need a lifeline.
If you can save a dog for christmas please contact gkd aka Gwen ASAP before it’s too late.
All they want for christmas is you………

December 8, 2008 at 6:53 pm #81391JennyMemberThank you so much for giving this chap a chance. He has been very stressed in the Pound – I’m sure he will thrive with you.
December 9, 2008 at 10:49 am #81631animalhelperMemberFantastic news! Would love to see more photos of him when you get a chance!
January 2, 2009 at 11:29 pm #82172DeemeisterMemberSorry it took so long – Christmas was a bit mad with dogs, kids, cats, fish and various in laws but here are some recent pictures of Mack. He is super adorable, so well behaved, great with kids, perfect on the lead, house trained, obedient, taps on the door when he needs to go out and loves his squeeky toys (not so great with a hangover!!)

January 7, 2009 at 11:41 pm #82290DeemeisterMemberDid I mention how great Mack is with other dogs? He loves to play chasing and has no problem with bigger or smaller dogs.
Mack & Chance; Pair of posers – taking a break from wrestling!
January 22, 2009 at 12:59 pm #81842stefandjudyMemberI had the pleasure of meeting Mack last night and thought he was absolutely wonderful! He comes over whenever you call him, is very quiet and undemanding. He would make great companion to anyone!
He came over to me and loved the rubs he got; kept nudging closer and obviously enjoyed the attention! He is very sweet and only a small dog.
If you would like to meet Mack and possibly give him the loving home he deserves, please fill in an adoption form and send it in to us.
February 13, 2009 at 1:20 pm #83202DeemeisterMemberMack went to his new home last Sunday and we were all very sad to see him go….a few tears were shed! His new family are perfect for him though and we’re pretty confident that he’ll be very happy.
