MemberLuca is in fostercare with DID foster dog Charlie (you can see a video on Charlie’s thread). Luca was found wandering along the M7 motorway, with no sign of where she came from. She is a gorgeous little long haired kitten, female, about 9 weeks old. She gets on well with other cats and Charlie the dog. She is very well socialised, loves to sit on your lap and play with her toys. She is fully house trained, and has no trouble using a covered litter tray with flap.
All round she’s a gorgeous, very fortunate little kitten. All she needs now is the happy ending of a loving permanent home.

MemberShe is so cute.
I have a 3 year old indoor female cat and would love some company for her. Would it be possible to foster Luca (with a view to adopting) to see if they get on together?

MemberLuca is already in foster care so she doesn’t need to be fostered but thanks for offering
She is in foster with cats and dogs so we know she is great with them.If you want to adopt Luca please fill in an adoption application and just fill in the relevant information such as address, contact, family make up, routine and current pets and send it in to Justine@dogsindistress.org

MemberHi Guys
I’m just wondering is this kitten still available for adoption. I sent in my papers last week and am just wondering if she’s still available.
Thanks

MemberOh god she is absolutely adorable. What a sweetheart I love her. I would love to give this little girl a home. She would have another two sisters to keep her company.
I have sent through an email so look forward to hearing from you.
Take care

MemberLuca had her very happy beginning to her new life this evening when she went off to her new home. She will be living with another 18 month old cat who is a little bit lonely for feline company at the moment so hopefully this will be a positive new page in that cat’s life too. Thank you so much to the other families who expressed and interest in Luca – I have put everyone who is interested in adopting a kitten directly in touch with Cat’s Aid (http://www.catsaid.org) who currently have about 6 long haired kittens seeking homes – amongst scores of others.
This is the first time that I have ever fostered a dog and cat’s and kittens at the same time. It has been such a wonderful experience. All due credit should go to our wonderful little foster dog Charlie – who was the best little carer and playmate for Luca. My only worry now is that Charlie will be a little sad about missing his little friend. Perhaps we will find another foster kitten or young cat in need to keep him company – as the two older cats here are no fun from Charie’s perspective!

MemberHi Guys
I wanted to give you a quick update on Luca. She has settled in very well into our home and Suggs has accepted her as his new sister with ease.
Luca has brought so much energy and fun to both Suggs and our lives. She is truly a special kitten.
Thank you Justine for finding such a special kitten
I’ve added some photos of her, enjoy!

MemberThanks so much for the update on Luca – she is such a little gift from heaven. I’m so glad I spotted her on that fateful day on the M7! I’m delighted that she is settling into your home so well and bringing your family, including Suggs so much pleasure.
